"Mia! Come back honey!" Evena called out to her 5 year-old daughter. She looked exactly like when Evena's mother was little. And that was the only memory Evena wished to keep of her mother. Evena knew nothing about the presence of her mother, or if she had moved away from town. And she didn't really need to know. Jay was at worked, due to come home any time now.

Every time Evena gazed at the forest in front of their back yard she would be struck with childhood memories. Happy childhood memories. Mia giggled and continued running towards the forest. Evena sighed, but she knew her daughter wouldn't get lost in the forest. Mia knew not to go too far in, and she knew the way out. Evena heard the front door swing open and Jay's voice echo through the hall, "I'm home!" Mia was out of ear shot in the lush green fresh forest as her mother ran inside to greet her father.

"Jay!" Evena squealed as he put down his briefcase and his lips were attacked by Evena's. "i'm glad your home," she said, fixing his tie for no apparent reason.

Mia pushed back large leaves to get to a crystal clear creek. She pulled a twig out of one of her cute little braided honey-brown pigtails as her green eyes wondered over the creek. "Pretty!" she gasped as a blue and yellow butterfly fluttered through the flawless blue sky. The sun kissed Mia's chubby rosey cheeks as she giggled. Suddenly the atmosphere grew lighter and there seemed to be a sensation in the air. Mia took a step forward as a person with red wings appeared. She had red wings, red hair, red dress and dazzling red eyes.

Mia clapped her hands together happily and squealed, "fairy!!" the fairy smiled and flew closer. "Hello Mia," she said and kissed Mia's cheek. They both heard a rustling behind as Evena stepped through the bushes. "Mia!" Evena exclaimed in relief and froze when she noticed the distinctly familiar sensation in the air.

Evena closed her eyes and opened them as tears of joy filled. "Mama! Fairy! Look!" Mia pointed proudly as the fairy straightened. Evena and the fairy ran (or flew) towards each other and embraced tightly. "I'm so sorry for last time. I left with the wrong words," Evena sighed in to the fairy's shoulder. "I forgive you, if you forgive me for being so harsh! Zemma was devastated. After all these years we thought we never meet again," the fairy and Evena broke the embrace and they both smiled at Mia who looked confused.

Evena chuckled and bent down as Mia hugged her mother. When they pulled away Evena held Mia's hand and said:

"Mia, meet my old fairy friend,"

"Her name mama?" Mia asked cutely.

Evena smiled, "Her name is Cherry."
