That's a lie

I sit in my room straightening my hair in the mirror when Jack walks in with a towel round his waist freshly showered.

"You wanna drop that?" I ask smirking staring at the towel.

"Where are you taking me so I know how to dress?" Jack ignored me.

"That ice cream place." I said smiling at Jack making the effort, "Still think you should drop the towel."

"I'm not sleeping with you." Jack rolled his eyes.

"How about a second date then?"

"We haven't even had the first." Jack laughed, "It's probably going to be a no because I'm the first person you ever asked on a date."

"You're going to want to."

"How do you know." Jack asked, "You've never been on a date in your life so you have nothing to judge on."

"It's me." I grinned turning my straighteners off as I finished my hair, "I'm amazing."

"Your amazing at being arrogant."

"Go get ready unless you'd rather stay in and fuck." I laugh at Jack, "I don't mind either way but if we sleep together then you agree to be my boyfriend it would make things so much easier."

"I don't like you."

"Why'd you agree to go on a date then?"

"As I said before." Jack started, "So I can say I was the first and only person Alex Gaskarth took on a date."

"It's because you like me."

"I'm going to get dressed." Jack ignored me again and left the room, I'm going to prove to Jack I do like him and I don't only want to sleep with him.

Once I was changed I decided Jack probably had enough time to be dressed by now.

"I'm coming in!" I call before immediately pushing open the door to see Jack quickly covering himself with a towel, "You haven't even started to get dressed!"

"Can you go."

"Your hair is done but you ain't dressed." I look at Jack who was awkwardly standing hold the towel to cover his dick, "And you can just drop the towel you know. I wouldn't mind."

"I do my hair before I get dressed." He said, Jack looked as if he tried to make himself smaller than he was, "Can you leave so I can get dressed."

"Hurry up." I say deciding not to push him any further, he seemed thankful when I left the room and he saw me shutting the door behind me.

I go back in my room deciding to call Rian and ask for any last minuet advice before Jack was ready to go.

"How have you fucked up?" Rian asked as soon as he picked up, no hello just asking how I fucked up.

"I haven't."

"Why are you calling then?"

"I need some last minute advice on how to show Jack I really like him." I tell Rian, "Like how does this dating thing even work."

"You take Jack out on a date and if he likes you then you can take him on another."

"How do I make him like me?" I ask, "I mean I know he already does but how do I prove to him I'm serious."

"No clue." Rian admits, "I'm not a massive player so when I take someone on a date they know I'm being serious and it's not to get them in bed."

"But I've never taken people on dates just to sleep with them." I say grabbing my keys and money off desk and putting them in my pocket before I forget, "And I'm not taking Jack on a date just to sleep with him even if it would be nice."

"I'm not sure how you're going to prove that."

"I really do like him Rian." I flop down on my bed, "Everyone probably thinks I'm kidding or would cheat or something but I've fully fallen for Jack."

"I don't think in all my years of being your friend I've heard you talk about falling for someone." Rian laughed.

"That's because I've never fallen for anyone before."

"You are being deadly serious aren't you." I wasn't too sure if it was a statement or a question.

"I am."

"Well explain that to him."

"But I've tried before and he don't listen."

"He agreed to go on a date so he's probably willing to listen now."

"I guess." I mutter not too sure what to say next.

"Good luck."

"Thanks Rian." I look over to the door to see Jack standing there, "I'll call you after."

"Bye." He said hanging up the phone.

"You talking about me?" Jack asked as I stood up.

"Yeah." I shrug putting my phone in my pocket, "Needed advice."

"Alex Gaskarth is really asking for advice on getting someone in bed!" Jack laughed.

"No I'm asking for advice on this whole dating thing and how to prove to you I'm being serious about wanting to date you." I admit knowing this is likely the only way I'm going to be able to say this without making a massive joke about it, I don't like talking about my feelings.

"I mean that's a lie."

"It's not." I look Jack dead in the face and do a small shrug, "I know you wouldn't believe it that's why I asked for advice from Rian."

"Come on." Jack said, "Let's go on this date."

"Would you let me take you on a second?" I ask.

"Ask me after we had the first."
