So hard to believe

Rian told me about the carnival I'm taking Jack to for a date. It's here for the weekend only so Saturday evening me and Jack got a Uber there. No way was I going to drive, the traffic was hell and parking would be even worse. When we got in the Uber I got a call from Vic.

"Hey Vic what's up?" I ask before mouthing sorry to Jack.

"Wanna come over?"

"I'm on my way to a date with Jack." I tell him, I see Jacks face light up.

"When are you free?" He asked.

"For what?"

"You know what I'm talking about." Vic said, "Unless you're actually trying to have a relationship with Jack."

"I am." I laugh, "Why does everyone find that so hard to believe."

"Because it's you."

"Well I plan to have a relationship with him."

"Good luck." I hear Vic laugh, "Who am I going to sleep with now?"

"I'll introduce you to some people tomorrow so you can find a new fuck buddy." I tell him.

"You're a great friend Alex."

"So are you Vic."

"I'm going to go jerk off since you let me down."

"Have fun."

"Oh I will." He said before hanging up the phone and I just laughed."

"What did he want?" Jack asked.

"Me to sleep with him."

"Thought so." Jack started tapping on his leg deep in thought, "Why are you spending all this time with me when you have all these other people who would drop everything to get in your pants?"

"Because I really like you Jack." I tell him, "I have real feelings for you."

"Hmm." Jack mumbled, "Let's talk about this later."

"Okay." I'm not going to push him to talk about something he feels uncomfortable about.

The date went really well. I won Jack a teddy on hook a duck and Jack won me one back on the ring toss. We walked around hand in hand smiling and laughing. Jack was a lot more relaxed now, even when he saw people from college and tensed up I just pulled him closest in my arms.

"Hey Alex." Vic said waking other towards me with Kellin, "You having fun on your date?"

"Yeah."

"Me and Kellin are going to fuck in the haunted house." Vic laughed, "Pray we don't get caught and kicked out."

"Was this Kellin's idea?" I asked, "Because we got kicked out the fun house durning the summer."

"You know me so well." Kellin laughed, "Care to join us?"

"No thanks. I have Jack."

"Jack put out?" Vic asked.

"No." Was the first thing Jack said since this conversation started.

"And Alex still wants you?"

"Yeah..." Jack gives them a weird look, "I mean he's always chasing someone."

"Not really." Vic shrugs, "If someone's not interested in him he usually just moves on to the next."

"Anyway." Kellin said, "I'm going to blow Vic in the ball pit. See you later."

"Bye." I wave as they walk past us towards the haunted, "Sorry about them."

"You really don't chase people."

"If after a day or two they aren't interested I move on." I shrug as we walk towards the big wheel.

"Why didn't you tell me this?" Jack asked.

"Didn't ask."

"You're chasing me even though I don't want to put out." I join the end of the line, it shouldn't be too long until we are at the front.

"Because I like you Jack."

"Okay." Jack said quietly, I could tell he was thinking because most the queue he was weirdly quiet.

"What you thinking about?" I ask as we climb into our seats and I put my arm over Jacks shoulder.

"Don't worry." He smiled as we started to move, then we stopped a little bit higher up to allow the next people to get on, "This is really nice."

"Would you let me take you on a third date then?" I ask.

"I would like that."

"But you aren't gay remember." I tease as we start to move again.

"Neither are you."

"We're nearly at the top." I look at my dangling legs as the ride starts to move properly.

"Alex." Jack said and I look up at him.

"What?" I ask before I'm cut off by his lips on mine.

I was really taken aback but Jacks sudden change in character and I've never been randomly kissed when I wasn't expecting it before. That didn't stop me kissing him back. I bite Jacks lip gently begging him to let me in my instead he pulls away. I smile at Jack brushing my hair out my face.

"You look surprised." Jack said, the ride was still going round but I was too focussed on Jack.

"I am." I admit, "Good surprised."

"Good." Jack smiled.

"That don't mean I'm or going sleep with you or be your boyfriend yet."

"Okay." I was so shocked yet so happy because of Jack, I don't think I've felt like this every before.
