All thoughts went out my head.

All feelings of longing, of lust for a certain man. Gone.

They had all gone.

"What?"

Chanja whimpered slightly. "Please, Anni, please...."

I was sure I had paled shades. I swallowed a huge lump in my throat.

"Where are you, sweetie?"

"At a hospital. I don't know, I'll ask someone."

There was a rustling through the line. A murmuring between two people.

"I'm at Seoul Central Hospital. I came here through an ambulance after I called emergency."

I did not think after what I said.

I did not regret it either as I declared, "I'm coming right now, Chanja dear."

A sniffle escaped the girl. "Th-thank you, Anni."

I looked around the room. "Is Chanmi with you?"

"Yeah, but a nurse is calming her down. She hasn't stopped crying."

Spotting Taehyung exiting the room, I said, "Stay with her, okay? Just don't worry, I'm coming right now."

"Okay," Chanja mumbled. "B-bye Anni."

"Take care, sweetie." I ended the call and proceeded towards Taehyung.

He was drinking a glass of wine when I approached him. "Taehyung."

His eyes flicked towards me. Amusement still swirled in them. "Come back to finish what you started?"

I would have blushed had I not had Chanja's voice ringing in my head. "I need to go back."

"I'll book the hotel room," he mused, smirking insufferably.

"I need to go back to Seoul, Taehyung," I said bluntly.

He raised a brow, still amused. "What for, hmm?" he leaned in slightly. "Whatever you want to do in Seoul can be done perfectly fine here."

"Can you just book me a bloody ticket?!"

Taehyung jerked his head back.

He looked at me with wide eyes. His feline attitude had gone.

"Don't stand there gawking, I need to go now."

"Why the sudden change?" he asked a shade softly.

"Urgent business," I said.

"Was...that was what the phone calls were about..." he trailed off.

I nodded curtly.

Taehyung opened his mouth. Closed it. Then nodded back.

"I'll...I'll book one for the early morning tomorrow."

"No!" I ran a hand through my hair, panicking. "Taehyung, I need one now!"

The man assessed me. "Why do you need it so much?"

"Because-" I stopped. "That's none of your business."

Taehyung blinked. Hurt flickered across his features.

"I...I see..."

He took out his phone, typing furiously on the screen. A few minutes later, he looked to me.

"I've booked it." He showed me his phone screen.

This flight departs in 1 hour.

"Shit," I got out. "That is early."
