"Do you get it now?" I ask him.

Ethan stands up in anger and kicks my computer chair.

"Why do we always have to do work? Why can't we just do something fun?"

"Because we don't hang out to be fun... We don't even really hang out. I just tutor you."

"Well, can we study while we do something fun?"

"Like..."

Ethan scratched his chin as he looked around the room. His eyes fell upon my record collection.

"Wow." He says flicking through them all.

He picked up an album and I get up to see which one he had in his hand.

"Do you know them?" I ask.

Ethan nods. "I love this band." He whispers. "Play it."

"I don't have a record player." I reply.

Ethan looks at me weirdly. "Then whats the point of having all these?"

"I like the look of them." I laugh.

Ethan grabs my laptop and starts typing. He ended the silence by playing a song. He played A Change of Heart by The 1975. I sit in my computer chair as I listen to the song.

"This is probably my favorite." I smile to myself.

"Mine too. It makes me want to dance."

"Then dance." I laugh.

Ethan gets up and he stands above me. He held out his hand.

"No." I laugh shaking my head.

"You said to dance."

"Yeah, by yourself."

Ethan didn't remove his hand, it was still right on top of mine. I grab it and I stand up. The music was booming through my room. Ethan pulls my arms to his shoulders as he places his on my hips. This was weird. We sway to the sound of the music, our feet on the warm carpet.

"This is so cliche." I say to Ethan.

"Don't think anything of it. It's just a dance."

"Never did and never will."

Ethan laughed slightly and he kept his eyes on mine. He brought me in closer and I rest my head into his chest.

"Hey honey could you turn that down-"

Ethan and I split apart as we hear my mothers voice. She stopped at the door and she laughed very awkwardly. Causing to make it a thousand times more awkward and embarrassing.

"Sorry, I had no idea Ethan was here."

"That's okay Ms Stone." Ethan laughed nervously.

My mom quickly walked out of my room and I sat on my bed brining my knees to my chest in embarrassment. Ethan sat next to me laughing.

"What?" I ask with a chuckle.

"Nothing." He replies. "I gotta get going. "

"We aren't studying tomorrow, I told Mr Smith."

He nods and grabs his phone. Before he leaves, he turns around.

"Thanks for the dance, Seppo."
