Thanks for still reading these guys, there getting peculiar...

"Left! Left!" The cars wheels swirled round, a spray of water slapping over the pedestrians. The street lights sparkling off the moist tyres.
We fell to one side.
"Y/n! It would be a lot easier if you told me where we were going!" He shouted above the honking horns.
"Just drive faster!" I screamed back. My heart beating in a race of life, I couldn't care for the law or the pedestrians on the streets. I needed to be somewhere, now.
"I've already past three red lights, I can't go faster." We were having to scream at each other, to be heard, the squealing of the tyres as they wore out on the concrete road, the blaring horns. "Left now." I had already opened the door before the car could stop, Harry hanging onto the back of my shirt as he tried to restrain the moving vehicle.

I leaped up the staircase into the glossy building, the diseases and bleach filling my nose. People were everywhere, sitting in chair, leaning on a wall, in a wheelchair. All had fear or tears on their pale cheeks. I couldn't control the senses pouring into me, it was overwhelming, the sterile lights, and range of coloured tunics. There was an old couple, a kid with a wonky arm, a large man sat down holding a tissue to his nose as a police officer questioned him, he looked mortified and scared.

A young woman, a year or two younger than me, dressed in a pink scrub walked up to me, grabbing onto my arms pulling me back to earth, onto the beige tiles I stood on. "Miss y/n?" I nod my head frantically. "Come with me, we might be able to get there before they go into theatre, it will be a long operation."
I nod my head, the nurse briskly walking as I trotted along side, not a care in the world who was to judge me. We walked down a labyrinth of corridors. Turning. Here. There. Now. Then. Other people all with weary faces flashing past. She checked her phone. "Hurry, we need to be quick." She started at a small jog, looking over her shoulder to check I was coming. I didn't need to be asked, I was sprinting after her. Two women sprinting down the corridor, hair blowing back as they created a wind. She slowed to a walk. "Stay here." I nod my head as she scanned her badge, then entered two doors.
I paced back and forth. Back and forth. My mind caught nothing. Every single thought was like bacteria afraid to get lodged by the white blood cells.
The woman came back out, all rush about her disappeared. "He's gone."

(A/N I could leave it here as another cliff hanger.... But I'm not that cruel.)

Her mouth kept saying words, but they had no sound. The footsteps of figures passing did not speak. The buzzing light was darker than black. The only touch, taste, sound or sight was pain.
A pressure applied to my arms, warm, and not painful. "I'm sorry, I meant he's gone under scalpel, they've started the operation." It all came rushing back in one large wave, I staggered over. "Let's get you a seat, it will be a long wait." The nurse said guiding me to a cushioned chair, it was like ones they had nursery, a wide selection of blue, red and green to choose from. I sat down, the worry not leaving my nerve racked body.
Moments later a deep voiced called my name, Harry ran up to me scooping me up in his arms. "You scared me, I completely lost you, one moment you were in the car next you weren't. Why are we here, y/n? Are you alright?"
I nod my head, my eyes glistening, his care made all the other feelings disperse. "I'm fine, it's just.... I need to call someone." I pull away from him, walking off to be alone. Who to start with? That is the question. Mother or sister? Who is less likely to kill me I guess. I dial in the number:

-Hello? Y/n is that you? Look ok, you know that girl I was telling you about at work? The on who dated Jordan? Yeah well she got fired so I got a promotion! Yay! Now I was thinking we should do a girls night to celebrate..... Y/n? Are you even there?
-Ava - my voice tremors as if a ghost stood before me.
-what's wrong? Why have you called me?
-Ava.... It's Thomas, he was on his motorbike and now....he's been in a car accident, they're operating on him.... - my broke down, sobbing. - I don't know what to do.
-Y/n, clam down, it's ok. Have you called mum?
-no
- I'll call mum just stay there ok?
- ok- I whispered like a two year old being punished.
Then Ava hung up.
