Idk about this one, but I thought the image of them rejoining was cute.  So this is a TBS imagine not a Newt one sorry.

My phone buzzed in my back pocket, wiping it out I saw Tommy's sweet face covering the screen requesting to facetime. I felt a warmth spread out in my chest, like when you drink hot tea.
"Tommy." I smile, having accepted his request.
"Hi love." He said his glitching face jolting on the screen. "What you doing?"
"Walking to work, so I might just have to talk." I say.
"Thats fine, I love hearing your voice anyway."
I caught the bus, paid the man and took a seat upstairs. Finally able to give Thomas my attention.
"What you doing?"
"Getting ready for the premiere tonight.... I wish you were here love, its lonely at night."
I sighed and picked at the fraying plastic around my headphones. "Tommy you know I had to stay, I need the money for the Uni dept and the house deposit..."
He interupted me as he picked his shirt off the bed, and started to button it up. "And you know that I will pay for those, I want to earn money for you love." He stared at me through the screen, his arms falling to his side, top button still undone.
I laughed a little. "And I want to work, put my three year worth qulification to use."
He moved closer his face growing on the screen. "And your doing that by serving coffee in a shopping mall?"
I smiled cheekily. "My only other option was to take you randsom."
He chuckled. "I wouldn't have complained a single bit."
I laughed knowing he would have loved to be locked indoors with me for a week or two. "Show me what your wearing for tonight."
Thomas moved back from the camera, slowly turning in his suit. It made me miss him even more! His hair roughly styled in place, his stripey suit dazzled in the bad lighting. I bit my lip and smirked. "Very handsome."
He blushed.
There was a banging noise. "Tom! Time to go!"
He turned towards the door. "Coming Dyl."
He hurried over to the computer. "So sorry love I'm going to have to go."
"Yeah sure, I've got to get off my bus soon anyway. Have fun and remember to do your top button up Tom!"
He nodded. "I love you darling I'll call you tomorrow?"
I smiled. "Yes. Bye Tommy."
Then a picture of him working the mouse froze on my phone and vanished.
I pressed the stop button and got off the bus.

I was serving coffee, when Tina, the other barista, came out from the backroom. "Boss is angry as ever." She whispered in my ear, taking over at the till.
"Here you go sir." I smile passing over the steaming coffee and then moving back to Tina, ready to get more orders. I start by serving up the cake. "What's he done now?"
"He's put me down for working this Friday, when I directly asked him for it off! What am I meant to tell my son? That I can't make his 5th birthday because people want coffee?" She cursed angrily, whilst working the coffee machine. "He just doesn't care."
I had stalked her instagram account, her son was almost severn! She just knew that friday was trash day, with all the shitty jobs leftover from the week. I sigh, a little annoyed, friday was meant to be my day off too. "I guess I could cover for you."
She served the last coffee on the orders and came over to the counter and hugged me. "Your a star y/n! I'll pay you back sometime."
I roll my eyes thats what she said last time. Looking out across the shopping mall people were hurrying along with an assortment of bags. Teens were gathering round benches giggling loudly. There was one man stood alone, with a black guitar case. He looked quite well clothed to be busking, he was dressed in thick layers of black clothing all pulled up around his face, i could barely see it. You mjght think we were in the Antarctic looking at him.
I nudge Tina. "'Nother busker."
She leant on the till watching him. "How long do you bet till he gets kicked out?"
"No clue but I told the last one so its our turn." I said moving back making my opinion obvious. I was fed up of covering for everyone at this job and doing they're dirty work.
Tina rolled her eyes. "Fine, I'll go talk to him."
I watched her walk over to the guy, who had by now put down his guitar case and was unzipping it. But it wasn't a guitar he pulled out, no it was a lot worse than a guitar. "TINA!!" I yelled but my voice was lost above the noise and the screams.
