The next day was the day of the hen do and stag do. I was washing up the pans and plates from lunch, Thomas drying them.
"Whats planned for Ava tonight?" Thomas said.
I chewed my cheek thinking. "Probably getting shitfaced." I laughed.
He chuckled. "We're taking Greg out for a wine and cheese tasting night. It should be good hopefully."
"Sounds scrummy." I said finishing the last plate. "Somehow i doubt we will be eating or drinking anything quite as fancy as that!"
Thomas leant on the counter top. He looked concerned. "Do you want me to come? To be the sobber friend."
I sighed drying my hands on a tea towel and sitting on the table opposite. "We'll be fine Thomas."
"You sure? There are some weird people out there."
I rolled my eyes. "Thomas!" I said sternly. "We'll be fine."
"I just don't want you to get hurt." He said, not meaning the plural you.
I couldn't stop the smile creeping on my face. "Thats very sweet but its a girls night only."

Soon the sun had set, the boys had left and we were all in our little red dresses, Ava wearing a tiara.
"Wait!" I yelled stopping them getting in the cab. "We need pre drinks."
The others sighed and waved for me to ignore it. I rambled round in my bag pulling out small bottles of vodka. "I stole these off the plane." I hand them one each, the bridesmaid look uncertaintly at Ava who rolls her eyes as she watches me open up my second bottle. The burn from the last bottle still running down my throat. "Come on!" I cheer. "We need this party to liven up."
"Y/n you've had two now... can we get in the taxi?" Ava said laughing at me, she knew once i had my mind set on getting tipsy i would be off my face in an hour or less.
Lights of all colours lit the dance floors. Purples seemed to comsume most of it. The vodka shot rushing through our bodys, pumping round in our blood, energised our dancing and laughing. With sore feet we found a round table, stole a few chairs and sat down giggling.
"I'm going to grab some drinks." Jenny said, one of the bridesmaids. "Who wants what?"
Everyone spoke out their order, beers and one said coca cola. Only i was the outstanding idiot. After them all frowning at my drink choice and saying it was miles too expenisve I opted to get the drinks instead and did not take my purse.

I sat in a bar chair next to lonely man, drumming my fingers on the counter top as i waited for the bartender. "You here with friends?" The man said, his eyes were deep brown, like a vat of melted chocolate and he had a jawline to die for.
"Yeah my friend's getting married tomorrow." I say jerking a thumb back towards the table.
"Oh nice, well can i buy you lot some drinks?"
"Oh thats very kind of you. I need 4 beers, one cola and a margarita with a double vodka shot." I smile with pleading eyes, spinning on the bar stool.
"Let me guess your the margarita girl?" He said putting the order to the bartender. "And another beer for me please."
The bartender slipped my drink across the table.
"Shall we go give the others their drinks?" The man said picking up the beers. "Ok." I giggle already having drank the better half of mine.
The girls liked the guy, especially when i said he brought our drinks. But he always glanced at me when making his jokes, laughing at my slightly drunk response. Soon everyone was re-energized and Ava dragged them off to dance, continually beconing me to follow but i kept slipping from my chair.
"I'll keep her here." The guy said.
"How dare they put baby oil on my chair!" I bend over laughing falling on the floor again.
Ava nodded. "One last dance and I'll call our cab." She came over and grabbed my hair, pressing her mouth near my ear. "Be careful don't hurt anyone."
I giggled and sat back on the chair.
"Food?" The man said.
I nodded.
Ava's dance seemed to be a long one, long enough for me to actually sobber up enough to sit on my seat correctly.
The man was leant on the round table his face close to mine, mainly cause the music was too loud to hear each other.
"Oh you have something in your hair." He said running his hand through the hair just by my face, his hand lingered on my jaw. He must have been quick, instantly i felt lips pressing on mine, carefully but needy. He started to make out with my mouth!
I pushed a palm against the base of his neck. "I'm good thanks." I slowly moved off my chair. "I think I'll go find Ava."
"But you said you were single?!" He said shocked i had turned him away.
I shrug. "Its complicated."
"Do you have a boyfriend?"
"No."
He rolled his eyes. "The problem is with me isn't it?"
I shook my head. "No! But I'm going to find Ava it was nice meeting you." I walked off into the crowd towards the music. Not sober enough to actually locate my friends. I heard a loud, harsh voice behind me and picked up the pace, seriously regretting my choice of footwear now. Until i bumped into someone. "Tommy?" I gasped.
He smiled down at me but then it turned to worry, he grabbed my arms. "Whats wrong?"
I checked over my shoulder. "Nothing, misunderstanding. Lets leave."
The man, still going without a name, bursted through the crowd. "I thought you said you didn't have a boyfriend."
I stepped closer to Thomas and opened my mouth.
"Is there a problem here?" Thomas said wrapping his arm around my back.
"Yeah your friend there nicked some drink off of me." The guy said pointing an accusing finger at me.
Thomas nodded. "Well thanks for getting her some drinks, I'm sure she appreciates it. Here take this for your trouble." Tom handed him a note from his black wallet.
"Lets get out of here." Thomas said guiding me to the exit. There were so many questions my head hurt. When we reached his car the others were all pilled in the back, bluckes strapped across them.
