CHAPTER 1 : THE BEGINNING

Jennie’s pov
“mom, dad, I want to enroll at the High School near grandma house” I said.

“But why honey? Don’t you like living in New Zealand with us?” my mom asked.

“I do, but I miss grandma at Seoul, I want to meet her badly, plus I like the scenery at there” I said  with a pouty face.

Jennie’s parents negotiate while jennie is waiting in front of them.
“Fine, you can go to that High School under one condition.” Dad Said .

“what is it?” I asked.

“After you graduate from High School you have to come back to New Zealand and live with us, I need you to be close with us.” He said.

Suddenly I heard a footsteps came from upstairs.

It was Ara my older sister. She’s in her senior year, soon she’ll graduate and pursue her dream to become a doctor just like dad. My father own his own Hospital and would be happy if one of us work with him there. My mom works as a CEO at a company and also one of the best mom out there.

“Why do you suddenly want to leave us?”she said.

“You should have at least 1001 reasons to leave us” she added.

“unnie I’m sorry, but I really want to go back to Seoul.”

“I promise to call you everyday” i said.

“no, please, if you leave I won’t have anyone to share my secrets”Ara said.

i stood up from the sofa and walk towards Ara and hugged her.

“Don’t worry, you can still share me your secrets and problem with me through the phone.. I won’t ignore you” i said softly.

Ara burst into tears and hugged jennie tightly.
Ara is a shy girl. She does’nt have a lot of friend. Her bestfriends is her sister, Jennie.
Mom and dad also stand up from the sofa and make a group hug with us. I’m gonna miss my family

At night

I started to pack all of my stuff into the luggage. Ara also come into my room and helped me to check all of the important stuff to bring.

“You’re gonna have a goodtime in seoul aren’t you?” Ara said. I raised my eyebrow.

”why?” I said with a confused face.

“You’re gonna enroll into a High School in Seoul, there’s gonna be a lot of famous people studying there you know” she said.

“haha, don’t worry, if I found someone who’s good looking there, I’m gonna introduce you to him.” I said.

“ Yahh..why would you do that? You know I’m not good with talking to boys”Ara said. Her face started to turn red.

I laugh seeing my sister acting like that. We started to chat all night long until we feel sleepy and go to bed.

morning ( after a few days)

Dad got some people to bring my stuff into a truck and took it to the airport. I put on my jeans jacket and headed into my dad’s car with my mom and Ara.

At the airport, I said farewell to my parents and hugged each other for the last time. They waved at me as I am going inside the plane. It’s going to take a long time to reached seoul, so I put my headphones on and slept while listening to the rhythm.

At Seoul Airport

I flexed my arms as I got off the plane and took a cab to reach my grandma house.

After a few minutes, I reached my grandma house. I opened the gates, it was unlocked. My grandma house is just a normal house not too big not too small. She must be lonely living here alone after my grandpa died last year. The memory make me feels sad but I quickly snapped out of it and carved a smile on my face to meet my grandma.

I heard a laughter and a male voice coming inside the house.

“hello..?”I said in front of the door.

I’m afraid that I might came to a wrong house that time. I said ‘hello’ again and heard a footsteps coming towars the door. I was excited to greet my grandma. The door opened.

“Hi Grandma~” I said smiling widely showing my gummy smile.

But it wasn’t my grandma who opens the door. It was a guy.

“Do I look like a grandma to you?” he said with an expressionless face. I was shocked.

“I’m sorry, but you see.. I’m here to see my grandma not you” I said while staring at him.

“I might have come to a wrong house, I’m sorry for wasting your time”.
