CHAPTER 13: AM I WRONG?

Rose’s pov

A few weeks have passed. All of our classmates have become close to jennie and stop questioning her background thanks to Taehyung. As for me, well I’ve become lisa’s best friend after spending a lot of time with her. She’s very friendly and goofy. I learned Thai language from her too. It’s very fun.

But, something grew inside of me. And that is my feelings toward Jimin. He’s been treating me so nice lately. He always keep me updated with his passion. He told me that he’s going to audition for an agency. He wants to become a choreographer when he finishes his studies. That’s nice.
I was walking towards the school gates and someone shouted my name.

“Rose-yah!” jimin shouted from the back. I waved at him and he ran towards me.

“hey, calm down jimin. I’m not going anywhere” I said while patting his back.

“I know” he said then smile.

“hey, have you decided yet which club are you gonna participate?” he asked me.

“well… I’ve been thinking about joining the dancing club but…” i looked at the sky while talking with him.

“that’s great! I’m joining that club too!” he said.

“But I’m not good at dancing. I start to dance like a week ago with lisa at the gym. What if I’m just embarrassing myself?” I said with concern.

“that’s ridiculous! If you practice regularly I know you can do it!” he said trying to encourage me. I just nodded.

“you’re right. At least I should try it right?” I said.

“but there’s gonna be an audition too before joining the club. It’s next week. Let’s practice together at my friend’s studio. She actually own that dancing studio.” He said.

“really? That’s nice! Can I invite lisa too?” I asked him. He nodded.

“I’m bringing jhope too. He’s a great dancer” he said.

We’re talking until we reached the school hallways. He bid me goodbye as he’s walking towards his friends now. I searched for my friends but they’re not here yet.

Soon, a girl approached me and glared at me. She looked at me from head to toe. I think I’ve seen her before.

“is there anything that I can help?” I asked her. She looked at me then smirked.

“you’re pretty. I’m seulgi” she said. I was surprised.

“oh, well… you’re pretty too. My name is rose” I said.

“I know” she said.

“okay, then why are you here?” I asked her.

“I want you to help me” she said.

“help? With what?” I asked her.

“can you… please leave jimin alone? I don’t like it” she said.

“What? why? he’s my friend”.

“I don’t care if he’s your friend or what. but you should’ve known that he have a girlfriend!” she scold me. I was shocked.

“girlfriend? You’re his girlfriend? I never know that. I’m sorry” I said and apologized to her immediately.

“ you should’ve known that if you’re really his friend! “ She said.

“I’m sorry. He never told me he have a gf” I said. I was disappointed. Why didn’t he tell me he have a gf?

“then do me a favour and leave him alone!” she said then left me alone.

I was gonna cry but I hold it because I don’t want people to see it. I was starting to like jimin. I don’t know he’s already taken. I’m so upset.
Suddenly, jimin came running towards me. His smile can cure decease.

“Rose? Are you alright?” he asked me.

“Yes, I’m okay” I didn’t even smile back at him. I was heartbroken.

“are you sure?” he asked me again with a smile. I close my eyes and look away. He stare at me confusedly.

“yes, jimin. I’m okay. I just a time alone” I said.

“oh… if that’s so… I’ve already ask my friend that we’re gonna practice at her studio and she agreed. You’re coming right?” he asked me. I shrugged my shoulder.

“you’re not coming? Why?” jimin ask me. He walk towards the way I’m facing just to look at my face. I saw him and looked down.

“I’m not sure that I can come with you jimin. I’m a bit busy” I said. He stares at me.

“no. you’re lying!” he said with anger.

I looked at him and he look shocked.

“Rose? Are you crying? Did I went too far?” he asked me. I touched my cheeks and there’s a few tears fell. I didn’t even realise I was crying. I immediately wipe it off. Jimin on the other side was panicking.

“did I made you sad? I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to raise my voice” he said.

“That’s okay. Excuse me, I need to go to the washroom” I said and left him there. He look so worry for me. But why would he? He already have a gf. I washed my face and texted lisa to meet me in the washroom.

After a few minutes, lisa came in and I told her everything. I cried on her shoulder and she help me to calm down. Soon, the bell rang and we went to our class together. Lisa escorted me to our class making sure jimin wasn’t around. In class, I saw jimin at his seat waving at me.

“hi rose!” he said. I just look at him and didn’t even smile.

I walked to my seat and ignore him. He’s talking with jungkook. Soon, the teacher came and start our lesson. During our lesson, the teacher decided to divide us into a pair for our science projects. We’re randomly being picked by the teacher. Jennie get to be with Taehyung, Lisa get to be with jungkook and jisoo with jhope while jin with Irene. And I can’t believe that I’m being paired with jimin.
