CHAPTER 27: WHAT IS SHE DOING?

After a few hours Jisoo and her aunt, uncle and Eun Bi finally reaches Daegu. Jisoo just slept during the whole ride because she refuse to talk with anyone in the car.

“Jisoo, we’re here… wake up!” her aunt said. She opened her eyelids and it was already night time. They’ve been on the road for too long. She rubbed her eyes and went outside of the car unwillingly.

“Ah! I really don’t want to be here!” Eun Bi said and the glare at Jisoo.

“We’re here because we have something to do!”Jisoo’s aunt said.

There is an old house that belongs to Jisoo’s late grandparents at Daegu. Her aunt and uncle hired several people to take care of the house while they’re gone. As Jisoo walk inside the house she felt nostalgic as she suddenly went into a flashback of memories with her parents there.

She saw her younger version running in the living room while her parents are chasing her. The sound of laughter filled the whole room. Without realising, Jisoo shed a tear.

“Jisoo? Ya! Kim Jisoo!” Eun Bi’s voice snapped Jisoo from her flashback. She quickly wiped her tears.

“What are you doing? Are you crying?” Eun Bi asked.

“it’s none of your business!” Jisoo said and stormed into her bedroom.

“She’s weird!” Eun Bi said and went into her bedroom.

Jisoo’s pov

It’s been a long time since I came here. There’s a lot of memories that I cherish when I lived here.

i went into my room and something caught my eyes. A picture frame of me and my parents are on the desk. I  picked it up and my eyes shed a few tears.

“i miss you…. I need you….” I ended up crying that night while holding the picture in my arms and fell asleep.

The next morning,

“Jisoo-ya dress up nicely we’re going out now!” Her aunt said during breakfast.

“Why? Where are we going?” Jisoo asked.

“Some place” her uncle said. Jisoo became curious.

“Honestly, can you guys just tell me where are we going and what are we doing here? I don’t believe that we’re here just for a vacation…. I know we’re here for something else!” Jisoo said.

“You should’ve know why we’re here” Her uncle said.

“And that’s the problem… I don’t know why we’re here!” Jisoo raised her voice.

“I’ve heard… there’s a rumor about you….” her aunt said.

“Rumor? What rumor?” Jisoo asked. Her aunt held up her head and looked at Jisoo.

“You think we don’t know? About you… and that Kim SeokJin?” Her aunt said.

“What…what about him?” Jisoo hands starts to shiver.

“We know that you’re two are a thing so stop hiding it” her aunt said and Jisoo was speechless.

“And we’re against it! I want you to end your relationship with him!” Her uncle said.

“I won’t” Jisoo said.Her uncle let out her sigh and stopped eating. He looks at Jisoo with anger.

“How many times do I have to tell you that he’s our enemy! Our competitior! We cannot be friends with them because they’ll bring bad luck to our business!” Her uncle raised his voice.

“But it can change!” Jisoo said. Her aunt and uncle chuckled.

“Kids… and their silly love story…” Her aunt said and laughed and Eun Bi joins her mother.

“Do you really want to destroy our family hardwork just because of that boy?” Her uncle asked.

“I’m not trying to destroy it… I’m just trying to fix it by ending this stupid rival thing!” Jisoo said.

“Our company already facing a problem…. our income have dropped for the past few months… It’s because his company are ahead of us! I can’t let it happen!” her uncle clenched his fist and hit the table. All of them are startled.

“That’s… that’s why we’re here…I want to introduce you with someone…” her uncle said.

“What? No, I refuse!”Jisoo said.

“You have to… I you married him after you finished your studies his family company will help us!” Her uncle said.

“But I don’t want to! I don’t even want to be a part of this business… I have my own dream!” Jisoo said.

“why don’t you let Eun Bi marry him? She might be a better candidate!” Jisoo said.

“Nope, I won’t… I already have Taehyung!” Eun Bi said.

“He’s not even yours… he’s with Jennie!!!” Jisoo screamed.

“No He’s NOT!!!” Eun Bi screamed.

“ENOUGH!” her uncle screamed.

“No more question and I’m no taking ‘no’ as an answer! We’re gonna meet him in 2 hours so everyone should be ready by then…” Her uncle said and walk off the table.

Jisoo cried after thinking what is going to happen to her soon. Eun Bi left the table and went to her room to get ready.

“This breakfast is already a disaster…I wonder what will happen next” her aunt said.

“what am I supposed to do?” Jisoo thought to herself.
