CHAPTER 25: IT'S FESTIVAL TIME

The Next Day,

Everyone came to school wearing beautiful outfits. There’s music everywhere and everyone chatting and students busy with their works. Jennie came early to school today to help jisoo packing up the food to sell at the stall. They organised every food into their categories and a lot of people are lining up to buy their food.

Rose and lisa were busy keeping the surroundings safe and put some final touch to the decoratings. Namjoon finally finished setting up the stage early in the morning . There’s a lot of people playing games, having picnic and taking pictures.

-Ara’s Pov-

I finally arrived at the school gate. My heart beats rapidly. Why am I so nervous? I’m only going to meet him and then go home quickly. Jennie said that I should meet him at the park near the waterfall at 9.00a.m. So I went there quickly.

At the park,

I saw a lot of people there. I don’t even know which one I supposed to meet.

Ara sat next to the waterfall then let out a sigh.

“I shouldn’t have come here…” Ara said while checking her watch.

“it’s already 9.30a.m. is this some joke?!” Ara said angrily and gets up from her seat.

“Ara? Is that you?” someone asked. Ara turned around and saw a guy behind her back.

“Who are you?” Ara asked.

“I’m Suho” he said while smiling. Ara’s eyes grew wide.

“Oh, Hello” Ara said. Her anger suddenly disappears.

“I’m sorry for keeping you waiting. I have something to do just now. I hope you’re not mad at me” he said. Ara shook her head quickly.

“Nope, it’s okay… I know everyone’s busy here..” Ara said with a smile.

“That’s really nice of you… come on I’ll show you around” Suho said while lend out his hand to Ara.

“Sure” Ara said then reaches his hand and walk around the festival together.

Meanwhile,

Jisoo look at her watch. It’s almost 11.00a.m. She called jennie to follow her to the backstage to get ready. It’s almost time for the performances. They called another students to replace them and ran as fast as they could to the backstage. They bumped into Rose and Lisa and laughed at each other.

“C’mon guys! We need to hurry up!” Rose said.

At the backstage,

The four of them are all dressed up prettily and ready to perform. After their name getting called they made their cheering and went up to the stage.

“Yah! It’s almost time for the girls to perform! I have to go now!” Taehyung said leaving the others to continue doing their work.

“Yah! Wait for us too!” Jimin and Jungkook said. They ran as fast as they could to see them perform. Jin who saw them running followed them silently trying not to get caught.

Finally, he reached there and smile widely when he sees that he’s just in time to see them perform. All of them took a seat and cheers for the girls.

The girls starts to perform their first song ‘Playing with Fire’. Everyone starts cheering and chanting their name throughout the performance. Everyone loved the song.

“this song is really catchy!”

“yeah, are they going to record it? I want to listen to it again!”

Students starts complimenting their performance. The girls sang their hearts out and dance with their whole energy.

Soon, they finished performing ‘Playing with Fire’ and everyone cheered loudly for them. The boys were really proud after seeing them performing on stage.
After that, the stage turns black.

Everyone starts to gasp. Then a spotlight flashed to Rose. She starts strumming her guitar.

“Everyone, this is our second song called ‘Stay’” Rose said and continue strumming her guitar.

Then, the stage finally shows all of the girls on stage with individual spotlight. They start singing the song and everyone was focused to the lyrics. The audience starts to sang along at the ‘lalalala’ part while waving their phones with flashlight on. The scenery was beautiful from the girls position. After the song ended everyone clapped and cheers for them. Lisa starts to get teary and quickly wipes it off same goes to Rose. The girls bowed and thanked to the audience and went backstage.

At the backstage,

“Gosh! I can’t believe we did it!” Jennie screamed.

“I’m glad they like our performance today!” Jisoo said.

“This is the best memory i’ve ever experienced!” Rose said.

“Me too ! It’s really fun!” Lisa said.

“Thanks to Jennie for writing that song… without her we wouldn’t be performing now…” Rose said.

“I wouldn’t have done it without you guys too.. I’m really proud for us today” Jennie said and all four of them starts to make a group hug.

“Jisoo, c’mon let’s change our clothes back we need to continue our job” Jennie said.

“Yah, did you bring the thing that I told you yesterday?” Jisoo suddenly asked.

“You mean the dress? Yeah, I brought it… what is it for?” Jennie asked.

“Go change and wear it now” Jisoo said. Jennie raised her eyebrows.

“What? but we have-“

“nope, we don’t have to continue our job…I've found someone else to replace us... they’re going to replace us for the whole day… don’t worry they already agreed..” Jisoo said then smiled at Jennie.

“Why didn’t you tell me earlier…” Jennie said.

“what’s wrong? It’s not going to change anything though…” jisoo said.

“Jisoo, are you going to hang out with Jin?” jennie asked.

“yeah, he’s already finished working. I’ll go get change. Bye~” Jisoo said and left jennie alone.

“*sigh* what am I going to do… Lisa, Rose what about you guys?” Jennie asked.

“I’ve promised Soon Jae that I’m going to spend some time with her” Lisa replied.

“I’m going to help Chanyeol” Rose said.

“Fine… I guess I’m on my own then…” Jennie said while pouting. Jennie went into the dressing room to get change and went out with a pink floral dress.
