CHAPTER 12: SECRET ADMIRER?

Suga’s pov

It’s been a week since school start. Everyone at school started to get along well. But there’s something that bothers me a lot. I went to my locker and found a letter in it.

“what’s this?” the letter was addressed to me. I opened it and read it silently

To Min Yoongi,

Meeting you was fate,
Becoming your friend was a choice,
Falling in love with you was beyond my control.

“who send me this? I have a lot already” I rubbed my head and someone patted my back.

“yah! What are you doing? Class is going to start soon! Let’s go!” jhope said while tapping my shoulder.

“I know, I’m just gonna grab my stuff and…”

“yah, what’s that? Is that a love letter? Can I see it?” he said while trying to steal the letter from me.

“excuse me but this is my privacy. I don’t even know who sent me this. I get this letter like everyday.” I said. I put the letter back in the locker and grab my books.

“if she confess to you, are you gonna accept her?” jhope asked.

“I don’t know. I’m trying to play hard to get. You do remember how my last relationship went right? Bad decision dude..” I sigh.

“I know. But your past relationship was like a one-sided love. She didn’t even love you but you’re the one really loves her.” He said.

“dude can we stop talking about this? It’s making me feel uncomfortable..” I said and walked faster to class.

“okay gotcha!” he said.

As we’re walking faster to class, I accidentally hit a girl who’s walking from the opposite direction.

“Ah!” she screamed. All of her books fell on the floor so does herself. Man, did I hit her that hard? I dropped my stuff too and quickly picked it up.

“I’m sorry, are you alright?” I helped her to pick her books while she fixes her hair.

“Yah! Can you be more careful?” she said, still fixing her hair. I can’t see her face. Soon, she finally fixes her hair. Her eyes met mine and we stared at each other for a few seconds. I felt awkward and fake a cough. I handed her books when she got up.

“umm… I’m sorry, I should be more careful next time” I said while rubbing my neck. She look shocked.

“No! it’s none of your fault! I was the one who’s guilty. I wasn’t looking where I’m going.” She said while smiling awkwardly. Her face was completely red. Is she sick or something?

“oh, well then we’re gonna go to our class now. Nice to meet you” I said then walked away. After I walked a few steps behind her back she suddenly shouted.

“ My name is Sowon by the way! Nice to meet you too!”

I turned my back and faced her. She’s waving at me.

“and my name is Suga” I said and smirked at her. She stop waving and quickly turn around. I saw her running to her class. That’s weird, what did I do?

“Dude, I think that girl likes you now” jhope said while smiling.

“what? how can she like me if we just met like 2 seconds ago?” I questioned his opinion.

“ I don’t know. Maybe love at first sight?” jhope said. He started to tease me and I just ignore him and keep walking to class.

“Yah! Don’t ignore me!” jhope said and ran towards me.

Sowon’s pov

I always come to school early everyday because I need to do something important. I have a crush on this boy named Suga. He never notice my existence yet but I’m going to approach him slowly. But that never happen because I was too shy infront of boys. My face turns red so fast when I made an eye contact with them.

So I tried another way to express my feelings to him. And it’s by writing a letter to him. I know that he used to date someone but that’s old story. I wrote a poem to him that relates to me. I put it in his locker early so that no one notices me.

I started to have a crush on him since I saw him playing basketball at the school courts with his friends. He’s very talented. I adore him ever since that day. Our school always wins when he’s playing. I felt so proud of him.

I waited for everyone to arrive at school near the fountain while reading a book. My friend, Eun ha approached me and sat next to me.

“you’re early, again” she said then smiled.

“yup, it’s my everyday routine. How was your morning?”

“Good, what about you? Still sending him that letter?” she raised her eyebrow.

“yeah… I just hope that I’m brave enough to face him in reality.” I said then let out a sigh.

“yah! Don’t give up yet. There’s plenty of time left before we finish our school” she said and patted my back slowly.

“yeah you’re right Eun Ha”

“come on! Class gonna start soon let’s grab our stuff at the locker” she said and pulled me to the hallways.

We got separated because our locker we’re situated far between each other. I grabbed my stuff in the locker and ran quickly to find Eun Ha. She’s nowhere to be seen. I ran without looking at my front and hit someone. It hurts.

“Ah!” I screamed while I fell on the floor. All of my books fell on the floor. I can’t see clearly as my hair is covering my eyes.

“I’m sorry, are you alright?” a voice said. It sounds like a boy. I was really annoyed by my hair and completely forgotten that I’m talking to a boy.

“Yah! Can you be more careful?” I said, still fixing my hair. Soon, I finally fixed my hair. I was completely shocked. It’s Suga! My crush! . His eyes met mine and we stared at each other for a few seconds. I can’t stop looking at him as he’s so good-looking. Suddenly, he fake a cough. I got up quickly and he handed my books to me.

“umm… I’m sorry, I should be more careful next time” he said while rubbing his neck. I still can’t believe he’s talking to me. My eyes grew wider.

“No! it’s none of your fault! I was the one who’s guilty. I wasn’t looking where I’m going.” i said while smiling awkwardly.
