Camry's pov (continuation)

Jack.

"Um, I've been texting you, and you haven't answered me back," he stared at me, shutting the door behind him.

"Aren't you supposed to be with your band?" I folded my arms, still mad that he left last night.

"No," he answered blankly. "Where have you been?"

"I met a new friend, and I was hanging out with her," I rolled my eyes. "Why do I have to tell you anyway? Are you scared I met someone in your band?"

"I was worried because you weren't answering me," he walked closer.

"Well, I obviously wasn't with your band members because I'm not allowed to meet them," I sighed and avoided eye contact.

"I didn't say you weren't allowed to," he mumbled.

"Then why did you leave when I asked why I haven't met them yet?" I fired.

"Because I don't want you to meet them," he answered.

"Is there a problem with me meeting them or something?" I questioned.

"No, I just-" I cut him off.

"Never mind. I don't care. I have plans, so you should leave," I told him.

He stared at me like he wanted to say something. I pointed towards the door. He shook his head and left. I sat down on the couch and watched Netflix. I didn't actually have plans, so I somewhat felt bad for lying to Jack. I shook it off and told myself that it wasn't a big deal.

Jack's pov

I got to the Why Don't We house and walked inside. I ran to my room and grabbed my skateboard. I was about to go outside when Daniel stopped me.

"You good, bro?" he asked.

"I'll tell you later," I shook my head and walked passed him.

I was so mad at myself. Why didn't I just let her meet them? I got on my skateboard and decided to learn a new skill. I spent an hour and a half trying to learn a new skill, but I kept messing up. Finally, I was annoyed and just decided to do it one last time. I almost landed it, but my foot twisted, and I flew onto the concrete, landing on my hand. Pain shot through my hand and up my arm. Corbyn ran outside and asked if I was okay.

"I think I just broke my hand," I said through the pain.

"We'll take you to the hospital," he suggested.

We drove to the hospital, and it took them forever to get me to see the doctor. They did an x-ray to see if it was broken. Turns out, I had broken my wrist. Since I twisted my foot, they wanted to make sure that I din't break that, too. They took an x-ray for that as well. My ankle, but I did bruise it. They put a cast on my wrist, and I took a picture to post on snapchat. We had to wait to make an appointment for me to see the doctor again. The other guys left, and now Daniel was just with me.

"Do you want to talk about earlier?" he asked.

"I was just mad at myself," I shrugged.

"For what?" he furrowed his eyebrows.

"I kinda messed things up with Camry," I said without making eye contact.

"Ohh, so Camry is the girl you were talking about," he said.

"Please don't tell the guys I told you her name," I sighed and mentally face palmed myself.

"I won't," he laughed. "I'm going to the bathroom. I'll be back in a few seconds."

He got up and went to the restroom. I looked at the cast on my wrist and sighed.

"Jack!" I heard someone yell.
