Camry's pov
~a month later~

Jack had just called me to inform me that they were on their way in the tour bus to pick me up. I had told them I wanted them to pick me up from my house because I wanted my car to be at my house to make it seem like someone was home. I finished up my packing. My suitcase was ready, but I was throwing some things in my bookbag. I just packed my charger, headphones, and my makeup bag. That's when there was a knock at the door. I ran to the door and opened it. Jack grabbed me by my waist and connected our lips.

"Jack," I laughed, pulling away.

He pecked my lips one more time before letting go. He followed me to my room.

"I'll go ahead and take your suitcase," he told me and left the room carrying my suitcase.

I slung my bookbag over my shoulders and grabbed a blanket and my pillow. If I didn't have those, there's no way I'd be able to sleep. Jack came back a second after that.

"Ready?" he asked.

"Yup," I said, popping the 'p'.

He intertwined our fingers as we walked out to the bus. We walked in the bus, and he put my stuff in one of the bunks. I guess they had two extra just for Val and I? We then walked to the very back where they had a hangout area. The bus driver appeared in the doorway.

"Ready?" he asked.

"Yeah," everyone said.

"Alright. Off to Cincinnati," he smiled before walking up to the front.

This was going to be such a long drive, but I was glad I was going to be with the best people on earth.

"First stop of the Invitation Tour here we come," Jonah smiled.

"What we've all been waiting for," Corbyn added.

"When are you going to tell us the songs you're going to sing?" Daniel asked Val, who was cuddled up to Jonah.

"I guess I'll tell you now," she rolled her eyes and laughed.

Oh, yea. Val released a single a few weeks before she announced she was going on tour with Why Don't We. Her song is called Most Girls (yes, it's actually by Hailee Steinfeld, but let's pretend it's Val's song).

"Obviously I'm going to sing Most Girls," she laughed. "The other songs are Too Good At Goodbyes by Sam Smith, Lights Down Low by MAX, Young Dumb & Broke by Khalid, and My Type by The Chainsmokers."

"Those are great song choices, V," I smiled.

"Thanks. I got some of them from your spotify playlist. I'm addicted to them," she laughed.

"I told you that you would be," I joked.

"I have an idea," Corbyn smiled.

"What?" we all asked.

He pulled out his phone and started typing. All of our phones went off. It was a notification that he had tweeted. I opened Twitter.

@corbynbesson: I'm so glad that my own sister @ValAri is going to be our opening act for the Invitation tour. It's gonna be dope!

Everyone looked up at him smiling. This was the first time that he said that they were siblings. Most people always said that they looked alike, but they never made the connection.

"Should we-" Jack started.

I already knew what he was going to say. I looked at the other guys.

"Only if you two really think you are ready," Daniel said.

We waited an hour before posting.

@jackaverymusic: Thankful that my girlfriend @camrysmith is going to be with me for the whole tour❤️

I looked up at Jack and smiled at him. He pecked my lips. Everyone "awww"ed. They all liked and retweeted it and so did I. Val commented "Cuties😫" and Daniel commented "I knew you would end up together😉". Most of the comments that were coming in from the fans were positive and saying how happy they were for us.

~time skip to the first show~
It was February 27th, aka the day of the first show of the Invitation tour. The guys were super excited. Val was nervous, but she was trying not to show it. They had already done the meet and greet. All of the guys were in soundcheck while Val and I were backstage hanging out. She still had an hour before she needed to get dressed. The guys came back from soundcheck and were just hanging out before the concert.

"You ready for your first stage performance?" Corbyn asked Val.

"Kinda sorta," she shrugged. "Just nervous."

"Get Camry our there with you," Jonah joked.

"I might," Val laughed.

"I would actually jump in a trash can," I told them.

"You don't have to sing. I might just need someone out there to help me not get stage fright," Val explained.

"What would I even do?" I asked.

"I don't know," she laughed.

"Exactly," I told her. "I'm fine on the sidelines."

Val's pov

The hour went by way too fast.

"Time to get changed," the girl in charge of wardrobe told me.

I went into my dressing room and threw on:

with Adidas superstars. They had let me do my own makeup: foundation, concealer, powder, eyebrows, and mascara. I decided not to do eyeshadow because it would've taken too long. The hairstylist came in and took my hair out of its messy bun. She brushed and straightened it. Then I was all set. I walked out of my dressing room and stared freaking out. I found Camry.

"Oh my god. I'm freaking out. Help me," I blurted.

"Calm down," she said slowly. "You're gonna do amazing!"

A guy with a headset walked up to me and handed me a microphone, pushing me towards the side entrance to the stage. I grabbed Camry's hand and dragged her with me.

"Just breathe," she breathed in and out slowly.

I copied her. That made me feel so much better.

"There you go," she smiled.

"Two minutes," he told me.

I saw Jonah walk by, but then he walked back after he saw me.

"Wow! You look great!" he smiled, yelling over the loud music and looked me up and down.

"Thanks," I smiled.

"Thirty seconds," the guy with the headset told me.

"Good luck," Jonah said before pecking my lips and walking backstage.

"I'll be here waiting," Camry told me.

The music stopped, and the crowd started screaming.
