Chapter 31

Camry's pov

I woke up, and Jack wasn't there. I got out of the bunk and went to the back. Val and the guys all looked at me.

"What?" I gave them a confused look.

Then I realized Jack wasn't there.

"Where's Jack?" I asked them.

Daniel sighed.

"He's in the front watching tv," he told me.

They were acting weird. I turned around and started to walk away, but Daniel grabbed my hand.

"Please don't go in there," he pleaded.

I looked into his eyes, and I saw hurt. I yanked my hand away and walk to the front of the bus. Daniel ran after me. That's when I saw Aspen. She was sitting so close to Jack that their bodies were touching. She had her hand on his thigh. They were both smiling at each other, and then she kissed him. Jack pulled away, and Aspen looked at me. This caused Jack to look in my direction. My heart fell. Tears threatened to escape. He had just told me that he loved me and then he cheated on me? I shook my head before running off the bus. We were stopped at a gas station. We were in some kind of small town or something because there were shops and things around. I walked to the McDonalds that was two stores over from the gas station. I realized that I probably looked really bad. I was wearing a white long sleeved YETI shirt and faded navy blue Nike shorts with socks and my white and black Nike slides. I walked inside the McDonalds and sat down at a higher up table. I buried my face in my hands and let the tears fall. A few minutes later someone ran inside.

"Camry!" I heard Daniel's voice.

I looked up and wiped my tears away. Daniel ran up to me and pulled me out of he chair, so I was standing up. He hugged me tighter than ever.

"I'm so sorry about what happened," he whispered.

"He cheated on me..." that's all I could manage to get out before I started crying again.

Finally, I stopped crying. I didn't have any tears left, and I felt dehydrated. I almost lost my balance.

"Sit down. You need water," Daniel told me.

I sat down in the chair, and he bought me a water. He stood beside me as I drank my water. We sat in silence as I finished drinking the whole cup. Daniel got me some more water because he said I needed to keep water in my system or else I would get worse.

"Listen..." he sighed.

"You knew," my voice cracked.

I felt my eyes burning again. He looked into my eyes, and I could tell by the look on his face he knew I was hurt.

"I'm such a jerk," he shook his head.

"No you're not," I told him. "You're not the one who cheated."

"I should've told you. No one else knew until I told them before you woke up," he explained.

"How long?" I asked.

He looked away.

"That's all I needed to know," I said, and there was hurt in my voice.

I stood up and walked outside. I took out my phone and called the only person who I knew would answer.

"Camryn?" he asked.

"Can you pick me up from Miami?" I blurted.

"Ummm..." he hesitated.

"Please," I begged. "You don't even know what I've been through the past hour."

"Sure. I'll buy a plane ticket," he said.

"Thank you so much," I sighed.

"See you soon," he told me before hanging up.

I walked back to the bus. Everyone was in the front part of the bus now. They all looked at me. Why was Aspen still here? I wanted to punch her in the face. Val walked up to me and pulled me into a hug. I closed my eyes and just hugged her. We pulled out of the hug, and Jack just looked at the ground. No one said a word. I pushed passed everyone and went to my own bunk and fell asleep.
