Camry's pov

We all got back on the bus and headed to Miami the next morning. We were all hanging out in the back of the bus. Jack and I were cuddling while playing Mario Kart 8. I was obsessed with that game. We played it so much on the bus. Jack was getting better at it, but I could still beat him when I barely tried. The guys and Val were all doing their own things. Val was scrolling through her Twitter. Jonah was listening to music while playing a game on his phone. Corbyn was trying to think of something really funny to tweet. Daniel was watching Jack and I play Mario Kart 8. Last but not least, Zach was playing Fortnite on his phone, but that's always expected. No surprise there.

"Zach, when are you not playing Fortnite?" Daniel asked.

"When I'm performing," Zach answered.

"Right," Daniel sighed and continued watching Jack and I race.

I crossed the finish line with Jack a few seconds behind me.

"Yes!" I beamed.

"Whatever," Jack groaned before scooting all the way against the wall.

"Noooo," I whined.

"Don't talk to me," he said.

"Are you really mad?" I crawled in his lap.

"It's not fair," he pouted.

"Awww," I hugged him. "I'm sorry."

Jack grabbed my controller really fast and started the game. Then he threw my controller across the room, and it landed in the trash can.

"Jack!" I gasped as I ran to the trash can.

Luckily, nothing else was in the trash can. I got my controller out and started racing. Jack was a whole lap ahead of me. There was no way I was going to catch up. He beat me.

"Winner!" he yelled.

"You cheated!" I folded my arms.

"But I won," he smiled innocently.

"Yeah, okay. You're a sore loser," I rolled my eyes and sat next to Daniel.

He hugged me.

"I'm gonna drop you for Daniel," I joked.

"No! I won't do it again! I promise! I'm sorry!" he apologized. "Please come back!"

"I forgive you," I laughed before going back to where I was sitting before.

Jack and I cuddled up again like we had before. I looked up at him.

"Loser," I smiled.

"Whatever," he laughed before leaning down to kiss me.

"PDA!" Zach yelled.

"Shut up and play your Fortnite," Jack told him.

"Someone's sassy," Zach said.

Val and I looked at each other and started laughing.

"What just happened?" Jonah asked, very confused.

"Nothing," Val and I said at the same time.

"Girls are weird," Corbyn shook his head.

"You're weird," Val and I said at the same time.

We looked at each other again.

"How are y'all doing that?" Daniel asked.

"It's a gift," I shrugged.

"A very special gift," Val added.

"It's a best friend connection," I said.

"Me and Jack have that," Daniel told us.

"One... two... three," Jack said.

"Chocolate," Jack and Daniel said at the same exact time.

Val and I gave each other confused looks.

"We can just walk up to each other, countdown, and then say the same exact word. It's so weird," Daniel explained.

"Yeah. We don't even know how this happened," Jack laughed.

"It's a best friend thing," Val said.

"I guess so," Daniel agreed.

"Babe," Jonah said.

"Yeah?" Val asked him.

They got into their own conversation. Jack and I played Mario Kart 8 for a little while longer until he finally gave up.

"Can I play Fortnite on the xbox now?" Zach asked.

"No. You're playing it on your phone," I told him. "Plus, I'm still playing Mario Kart 8."

"Fine," he whined.

Jack watched me race for another hour. I yawned. I was so tired from yesterday, and I didn't know how much longer I could keep my eyes open.

"Have at it, Zach," I tossed him the controller.

"Yes!" he beamed.

I cuddled up to Jack and laid my head on his shoulder. I closed my eyes, but there was so way that I was going to sleep with all the light in the room. I stood up.

"Where are you going?" Jack asked.

"I'm going to take a nap in my bunk," I told him.

"I'll come with you," he said as he got up and followed me.

I got in the bunk first, and he laid down after me. It was darker, so it helped a lot. I cuddled up to his chest and closed my eyes.

"Can you shut the curtain?" I asked him.

He reached over and pulled the curtain shut. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

*a few hours later*
I opened my eyes and was still cuddled up to Jack. He was asleep. Why did he have to be so cute when he was sleeping? I picked up my phone to check the time. It read 1:30 p.m. I set my phone back down and just took in the time I was having with Jack. I feel like we were even closer now than we were when we were only best friends. I liked this. He made me feel special. I felt him shift, and I looked up at him. He opened his eyes and looked down at me. I leaned up and kissed him. We pulled away and smiled. I swear his smile could light up the entire world. He was so cute. My smile faded. His did, too.

"I love you," he said before I could.

"I love you, too," I said back.

He kissed me again before we both went back to sleep in each other's arms.
