Daniel's pov

I walked into the living room just to see Camry and Jack being all cute and stuff. It secretly killed me inside. Seeing her with him made my heart ache. I wanted to talk to her so bad, but every time I look into her beautiful green eyes, I freeze up. Also, Jack and I are really close. I couldn't take her away from him like that. I'd feel like such a bad friend.

"Oh, hey," Jack turned to look at me.

"Hey," I said and went into the kitchen.

I made myself a bowl of cereal and quickly ate it. I went back into the living room and sat on the couch, away from Jack and Camry. I turned on the tv and turned on the xBox. All I could hear was Jack and Camry laughing and giggling. It made me upset that they were so cute together. I couldn't even talk to Camry. All we did was make awkward eye contact.

Jack's pov

Camry was my best friend... but I also had feelings for her. I didn't know what to do. I definitely did not want to ruin our friendship. Maybe I should just keep my mouth shut? What if she feels the same way, though? We could be together... Then again, I could definitely tell that Daniel felt something for her. It was just the way he looked at her. It was so obvious.

Camry's pov

Jack looked a little zoned out. I gave him a confused look and snapped my fingers in front of his face. He snapped back into reality.

"You okay?" I asked.

"Huh? Oh, yeah," he said quickly.

"What was that about?" I laughed.

"Nothing. I was just thinking," he shrugged.

We sat there in silence for a few seconds.

"Everything's fine," he smiled.

I could still tell that something was up, but I decided to just ignore it. I would just ask him later about it. No reason to cause a scene with Daniel and Jonah in the room.

"Do you want to get in the pool?" he changed the subject.

"Sure," I nodded.

He stood up, and then grabbed my hands to help me up as well. I grabbed my bag off the floor and went to his room. I changed in the bathroom while he changed in his room.

"You ready?" Jack knocked on the bathroom door.

"Yup," I said popping the 'p'.

I walked out of the bathroom, and Jack smiled. I threw my old clothes in my bookbag and grabbed my phone. I held Jack's hand with my free hand. We walked out to the living room. Daniel was still playing his video games, and Jonah was on his phone. Jonah looked up.

"Going swimming?" he asked.

"Yeah. You can join if you want," I smiled.

"Maybe," Jonah nodded.

"Daniel?" Jack asked.

"Later," Daniel replied, obviously not interested.

Jack and I went outside to the pool. I set my phone down on the table and followed Jack to the deep end. He ran and did a cannonball. I just laughed and sat down on the edge of the pool. Jack cans up for air and swam towards me.

"Jump in," he said.

"I-" I was cut off by him pulling me into the water.

I came up for air and moved my hair out of my face. Jack had an arm wrapped around my waist. He swam to where he could touch, but I still couldn't.

"Not fair," I pouted. "I'm shorter than you."

"Yes, I know, shorty," he smirked.

"Thanks for the nickname," I rolled my eyes and laughed.

"You are so welcome," he said.

I swam to where I could touch the bottom. He followed me.

"I bet I can make a bigger splash than you," he said.

"I highly doubt it," I folded my arms.

"Okay, lets go, right now," he said very cocky.

"Biggest splash wins," I said before hopping out of the pool and walking to the deep end.

Jack jumped in first, and then I jumped in. I came up for air and swam towards Jack.

"I totally won that," I told him.

"No way," he scoffed. "I won!"

"Keep telling yourself that," I laughed and got out of the pool.

"Okay, I see how it is," he said.

Then I was picked up bridal style.

"Jack!" I yelled.

He ran to the deep end and jumped in with me in his arms. We came up for air, and I splashed him. I swam towards where I could stand, and he followed me.

"You deserves that," I laughed.

"I won, though," he joked.

"Totally," I said sarcastically.

Jonah walked out a few seconds later.

"Yay! Jonah!" I yelled.

He took off his shirt, and my eyes widened. Well, I didn't know he had such defined abs. I quickly looked away once I noticed that I was staring. I heard Jonah laugh quietly. He jumped in the pool, making a huge splash.

"He won," I told Jack.

Jonah swam towards us and joined our conversation.

"What's up?" Jonah asked.

"Jack is being super cocky and saying he won, but he actually didn't," I folded my arms.

"That's such a lie," Jack rolled his eyes and laughed.

Jonah, Jack, and I swam around for a few hours. We decided to get out around lunch to eat some lunch. Val had made pasta and brought it outside to us. She sat across from me at the table.

"I didn't know you were here until Daniel told me," Val said taking a bit of her pasta.

"Oh, sorry. We didn't want to wake you up how we did everyone else. Jack and I went around throwing water balloons at the guys to wake them up," I explained.

"Yeah, I'm glad you left me out of that," she laughed. "I might come join y'all later. I have to finish editing a video for my channel."

"Okay, we are probably going to be out here all day," I said and turned to Jack and Jonah.

"What?" Jack said with a mouthful.

Val and I laughed. I kept looking back and forth between Val and Jonah. That's when I remembered that I was supposed to go with Val to tell Corbyn about her and Jonah. I felt so bad.

"Oh my gosh! I was supposed to go with you to tell Corbyn about-" I stopped myself.

"It's okay," she laughed. "I understand. You needed Jack. We can do it tonight or something."

"Thanks for understanding," I smiled.

"It's no problem," she smiled back.

Once we finished eating, Val took our plates inside. Jack, Jonah, and I waited a while before getting back in the pool. Mostly because our fingers were like raisins, and it felt weird
