*a week later*
Val's povI though it was about time that I confronted Jack about the whole situation with Camry. I gave him some time since we were on tour, and we had just gotten back. I walked to his room and opened the door. He was looking in the mirror, doing his hair. He turned and saw me.
"We need to talk about this," I folded my arms.
He rolled his eyes.
"Don't you dare roll your eyes at me. This is all your fault," I glared at him.
"Whatever," he scoffed.
"You cheated on her, and now you want her to forgive you?" I asked. "You were cheating on her almost through half of your relationship."
I saw his face drop.
"She was your best friend. How could you even think about cheating? Camry deserves better than you. All you ever did was hurt her," I finished.
"I didn't know what to do, okay?" his voice cracked. "I feel awful. I completely cut Aspen off after what happened on the bus."
"You should've done that before so this wouldn't be a problem now," I shook my head.
"I know. I messed up," he walked over to the bed and sat down. "She's never going to forgive me after that. I just lost the one person that I need in my life the most."
"You hurt her. You don't even know how much hate she's getting because of this," I sighed.
"This is all my fault..." he said to himself.
I walked out of his room and went to Jonah's room. I walked in and shut the door behind me. Jonah was sitting on his bed scrolling through social media. I walked over and sat next to him.
"The hate is just getting worse and worse," he handed me his phone.
I scrolled through the thousands of hate comments on Camry's social media accounts. I handed him back his phone.
"I just talked to Jack," I told Jonah.
"Yeah? What'd he say?" he asked.
"He feels bad about everything, but he really hurt Cam. I don't think she is going to be ready to forgive him that fast," I answered.
"I just hope this passes," he told me.
"Me too," I sighed.
He wrapped his arm around my shoulder, and I leaned into him.
Camry's pov
I woke up and rolled over. The sun was peeking in through the blinds. I rubbed my eyes and sat up. I reached over to grab my phone, but it wasn't there. That's when I remembered that I had dropped it last night. I grabbed it off the floor, but it was dead. I plugged it up before going to the bathroom and taking a quick shower. I threw on black Nike shorts and a burgundy hoodie. I put on my usually makeup: foundation, concealer, powder, mascara, and I did my eyebrows. I actually looked decent today besides my eyes being a little puffy since I had cried pretty much all day yesterday. I went back to my room and sat on my bed. My phone was charged some, so I turned on my bluetooth speaker and started playing music. I listened to Jack & Jack while scrolling through VSCO. It's basically Instagram and Tumblr combined in a way. That's when I got a call from Daniel.
"Hey," I answered.
"Hey. I'm sorry about last night. I shouldn't have done that. You just got out of a relationship, and you need time. It was wrong of me to throw that on you," he told me.
"It's okay," I laughed.
"You sound better," I could tell he was smiling even though I couldn't see him.
"Yeah. I feel better," I bit my lip.
It was quiet for a second.
"Do you and the guys want to go to the beach today?" I asked out of nowhere.
"Yeah. Meet you there at noon?" he asked.
"Of course. See you then," I said before hanging up.
I checked the time. 11:17. I had some time. I went to the kitchen and made myself a bowl of cereal. I ate quickly and then went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. Then I went back to my room and threw on a navy blue, strapless bikini with a floral print on it. I put on some athletic shorts and a white t-shirt. Then I got a bag and threw a towel, water bottle, sunscreen, my phone, headphones, and an extra pair of clothes just in case. By then, it was time for me to head out, so I got my keys and went out to my car. Then I was on my way to the beach.
