Camry's pov

I woke up to knocking on the hotel room door. I picked up my phone. It read 2:32 a.m. Why in the world was someone knocking on my door this early in the morning? I looked over at Val, who was sound asleep in the other bed. I got up and looked through the peephole. It was Jonah. I opened the door, and he pulled me outside of the room. He looked like he had been crying. I stopped the door before it shut.

"Hold on," I whispered before going inside and grabbing my phone and my room key.

I came back out and shut the door.

"Can we go for a walk?" he asked, running his fingers through his hair.

"Yeah," I sighed. "What's wrong?"

We started walking down the hall towards the fire exit stairs instead of the elevator.

"You're Val's best friend, right?" he asked.

"Yeah..." I started getting suspicious.

"And she tells you everything?" he questioned.

"Yeah," I answered. "Where are you going with this, Jonah?"

We started walking down the stairs. We were on the 5th floor, so this would take a while since we were walking slow.

"I feel like I'm not good enough for her," he blurted. "She means the world to me, but it just feels like she is drifting away."

"Jonah, she is probably just trying not to be touchy and lovey because Corbyn is here," I explained. "He's her older brother, and it's sort of weird for her brother to always be around when she's with you because he's always watching you two."

"It's just... She doesn't act any different around me than she does any of the other guys like she used to. It's not the same," he sighed.

"You want her to be a different person around you and a different person when she's with the guys?" I gave him a confused look.

"Not like personality wise," he started. "She doesn't try to kiss me or hug me anymore. It's like ever since Corbyn found out, she stopped trying."

"Corbyn knows you two are together," I said. "She was probably more into kissing on you in private because it was a secret, but now she has nothing to hide."

"So why doesn't she act like she has nothing to hide?" he asked.

"Corbyn is her brother," I repeated myself. "He is always watching, and it's be kinda weird for her to kiss you right in front of him all day."

"It just feels like I'm losing her," his voice cracked.

We got to the bottom of the stairs, and we sat down on the last step.

"You're not losing her, and I can promise you that," I told him. "You're the only thing she ever talks about. You're the only thing she actually wants to talk about. She wouldn't be able to live with herself if she lost you."

Jonah slightly smiled.

"She loves you too much to let you go," I smiled. "Plus, the fans don't know about you two yet, so that's another reason for her not to kiss on you in public."

"When do you think she will want to tell the fans?" he asked.

"Not any time soon," I replied. "She's really focused on her music, and I think she just wants to see where this goes before having to worry about hate from people just because she is dating you."

"Thanks for coming out at 2:30 in the morning to talk," he said.

"No problem," I laughed. "You owe me, though, because you woke me up in the middle of a great dream."

"I'll buy you some coffee or something. I don't know," he laughed, too.

"Maybe..." I paused. "Val will want to announce your relationship on the last show of the Invitation tour."

"Really?" he asked.

"I said maybe. Don't take my word for it," I told him.

"We really should be heading back now before anyone notices that we are gone," he said.

"Yeah, you're right. Val could wake up anytime. Wouldn't want to be gone if she wakes up." I added.

We started walking back up the stairs. It took longer going back up because we were still tired since I hadn't gotten that much sleep. Jonah was ahead of me, and I was dragging behind. He was laughing at me.

"Now I know not to drag you out at 2:30 in the morning," he joked.

"Yeah, no kidding," I laughed.

We finally got back upstairs and went out separate ways. I got out the room key and unlocked the door. Val was still sound asleep in her own bed. I put the room key back on the night stand beside my bed. I decided to scroll through my Twitter until I was tired enough to go back to sleep. The pictures of Jack and I kissing and hugging were literally trending on Twitter. I didn't even know it was that big of a deal until almost the whole fandom was talking about Jack and I being together. I didn't really like all of the attention. I knew that from now on everything would be different. My boyfriend was in a popular boy band, and my best friend was a famous YouTuber and an uprising singer. Then there was me. I was nothing. I was an ordinary teenage girl that was only known for my boyfriend and my best friend.
