Camry's pov

Once I got home, I waited for another hour. I decided to have an early dinner, so I made some salad. After that, I took off all my makeup. I applied the same makeup except I added some eyeshadow, eyeliner, and a pink matte lipstick. After that, I slipped on the dress and heels. I curled my hair and put in some diamond studs for my first and second ear piercings. My phone went off, so I went and sat on my bed and grabbed my phone.

Jack: Hey. I haven't heard from you all day

Me: Yeah, sorry. My friend Lena is visiting L.A. and we went shopping.

Jack: Okay. Making sure you were fine. I haven't heard from you since yesterday when you left the mall.

Me: I've been busy. I have to go, but I'll text you later.

Jack: Okay, bye.

I grabbed my black and gold clutch and my keys. Then I was off to the party. Lena had sent me directions earlier, but some of them were confusing. Finally, I pulled up the this huge house. Actually, it was more like a mansion. I texted Lena.

Me: I'm here. Where are you?

Lena: In the game room on the second floor.

Me: Okay. I'll find you.

I took a deep breath before getting out of my car and walking inside. It was so crowded. I had never seen so many people in one place at once. I squeezed my way to the kitchen.

"Hey there, pretty lady," a tall guy with bright green eyes smiled at me.

I smiled before starting to walk away again. I felt someone grab my hand, and I turned to see the same guy.

"Why don't you stay for a while?" he asked.

"I actually have to go find my friend," I told him and snatched my hand away.

I pushed my way through the crowd and to the stairs. There were so many couples making out and dancing with each other. I quickly made my way up the stairs and through some more rooms, Finally, I spotted Lena.

"Hey," I walked up to her.

"Hey," she smiled, yelling over the music and threw her arm around my shoulders. "Guys, this is my friend Camryn!"

A bunch of guys turned to look at me. There were probably 4 girls.

"Sup," one of them bit there lip.

"Go drool over someone else," I rolled my eyes.

That was the most unattractive thing I've seen anyone do. His friends laughed at what I said.

"Having fun?" I asked Lena.

"Yeah, actually. Are you?" she asked me.

"I just got here, so I don't know," I shrugged.

"Then let's dance!" she pulled me into a crowd of people dancing.

We started dancing, and I was laughing my head off at our embarrassing our dance moves were. After a while of dancing, my feet were starting to hurt.

"Can we go sit down?" I asked.

"Yeah. Come on," she grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the crowd.

"That was fun," I raised my eyebrows.

"Definitely," she laughed.

"We really need to work on our dance moves, though," I admitted.

"Yeah, know any dance studios by any chance?" she joked.

We both laughed. She looked around the room, and I noticed her start staring. I gave her a confused look.

"Don't look now, but Mason is here," she said.

"Are you serious?!" I asked and turned around.

Sure enough, there he was. Mason and I used to like each other. He was actually my date for senior prom. We talked for about 2 months, and rumor was he was planning on asking me out. He ended up moving before he ever asked me out, and we lost contact after that.

"Should I go talk to him?" I asked Lena.

"Yes! Get some!" she squealed before shooing me off.

I started walking and turned back to look at Lena. She smirked and winked at me. I decided to play it cool. I walked by and 'accidentally' bumped into his shoulder.

"Excuse me," I said nonchalantly without turning around.

"It's fi- Camryn?" he asked.

I turned around and was face to face with him.

"Oh, hey," I smiled.

"I haven't seen you since prom," he scratched the back of his neck. "You look great, by the way."

"Thanks," I laughed a little. "You do, too."

"What?" he yelled over the music that was just turned up even louder.

"You do, too!" I yelled back.

"Do you want to go talk somewhere else?!" he shouted.

I nodded. We made our way through the crowd, and I found a door to the balcony. I opened it, and surprisingly no one was out there. Mason followed me, and I shut the door behind him.

"It's so loud in there," he laughed.

"Yeah, I know," I said.

"So, what brings you here?" he asked.

"Lena invited me," I replied. "What about you?"

"I was visiting Rye, and he said I should come, so he dragged me out here," he answered.

It was silent for a second.

"Its great to see you again," he smiled. "It's been so long."

"Yeah, probably a little over a year," I nodded.

He moved a little closer. My heart skipped a beat.

"We used to be so close," he said.

I looked into his hazel eyes.

"You know, I never stopped liking you," he took another step closer.

He glanced at my lips and started to lean in, but he stopped before our lips touched. I closed the space and kissed him. My heart immediately exploded with multiple emotions. My mind went straight to Jack. I felt upset, yet mad, but somewhat happy all at the same time. I was upset because I knew I wanted to give Daniel a chance. I was mad because Jack came to my mind once I kissed Mason. I'm happy because that's what Mason never did when we were seniors.

"I- uh-" I stuttered. "I have to go."

I opened the room and quickly walked back to where Lena was before. She wasn't there. The gross guy that had flirted with me earlier was there, though.

"Where's Lena," I asked him.

"Last time I saw her, she was on the dance floor," he smirked.

"Wipe that grin off your face, and when she gets back, tell her I left," I rolled my eyes at him.

I quickly ran downstairs and out the front door. I got to my car and drove straight back to my house
