Chapter 16

Camry's pov

I rolled over, but my butt immediately hit the ground.

"Ow," I groaned and sat up.

I got off the floor and checked the time. It read 8:38. I checked the weather, since it was fall, I was expecting it to be cool. Nope. It was 74° outside. I threw on a loose, deep green v-neck along with some shorts. I slipped on my Rainbows and then did my usual makeup. After that I grabbed some breakfast and then brushed my teeth. I straightened my hair and brushed it out. I kept in my diamond studs for my first and second piercings. I texted Val and told her I was on the way. Once I got there, so knocked on the door.

"Hey," Daniel smiled.

"Hey," I smiled back and walked inside, hoping Jack wasn't there.

"Are you here for Jack?" Daniel asked.

"No," I said. "I'm actually here to see Val."

"Oh," he somewhat seemed happier than he was.

"Do you want to go out to eat later?" I asked him.

"I'd like that," he nodded.

"Cam!" Val squealed as she ran into the living room.

"Val!" I laughed as she hugged me.

"Come on, this is going to be a fun video!" she said before grabbing my hand and running back to her room.

"What are we going to do?" I sat on the edge of her bed.

"I tweeted for my fans to give me truth or dares," she explained as she shut the door.

Her room was so much bigger than Jack's. Jack's room was probably half this size. She had a tapestry on one wall with a couch in front of it. There was a camera set up in front of the couch.

"We can either stand up or sit down, which one?" she asked me.

"Umm, it doesn't matter," I said.

"Okay, we can do both, but for the intro we should stand up," she suggested.

She moved me to where I was in front of the camera. She turned on her huge light, and then pressed the record button.

"Hey, guys! Welcome back to my channel! Today I am here with..." she paused for dramatic affect. "Camryn Smith!"

"Hey," I laughed.

"So, I asked you guys on Twitter to send us truth or dares, and I got a ton," she said. "We are going to be picking random ones, so let's get right into the video!"

"Rock, paper, scissors to see who goes first?" I asked.

We played for two out of three. I won, so she had to go first. She picked up her computer and held it in her hands. She clicked on a random picture.

"Jump in the pool fully clothed," she read. "We'll get that footage after everything else."

She handed me the laptop, and I clicked a random one.

"Do a handstand," I read. "Crap."

Val laughed. She moved the camera back some as I tucked my shirt in. I did a pretty decent handstand. Then she moved the camera back.

"Sing the chorus of your favorite song," she said.

She cleared her throat.

"I'm never gonna let you close to me, even though you mean the most to me, cause every time I open up it hurts," she sang. "So I'm never gonna get too close to you, even when I mean the most to you, incase you go and leave me in the dirt, and every time you hurt me the less that I cry, and every time you leave me the quicker these tears dry, and every time you walk out the less I love you, baby we don't stand a chance, it's sad but it's true, i'm way to good at goodbyes."

Once she stopped singing, and I started clapping. She was such a good singer. I couldn't believe it. We answered some more questions and did some more dares. Finally, we had one more round.

"I decided that instead of doing two more, we would both do the final one together," she announced as she clicked on one of the two pictures. "Are you single?"

"Yes, I am," I answered.

"I am not. I am most certainly taken," Val said. "Well, that wraps up this video! Thank you guys so much for watching, I hope you enjoyed it. I will see you peoples later!"

She stopped recording.

"That was quite an interesting video," I laughed.

"My fans are insane," she shook her head and smiled.

"Wait! You have to jump in the pool!" I reminded her.

"Crap," she said. "Let's go film it."

She handed me the camera, and we went outside. I pressed record.

"I almost forgot to put this in the video, but Camryn reminded," she laughed. "Wait! Give me a countdown."

"Three... Two... One!" I yelled.

She ran and jumped into the pool. She came up and screamed.

"It's cold!" she quickly climbed out and ran up to the camera.

"Bye, guys!" she covered the camera.

We both laughed, and I stopped recording. The back door opened.

"What in the-" Jonah stared at us.

"We were filming," Val shivered.

"Okay?" Jonah laughed.

He went inside, but then came back it with a towel. Once Val dried off, she went to her room to change really quick. I sat in the couch in the living room while I waited for her. Daniel walked in.
