Camry's pov

I woke up the next morning on the couch. Val was sound asleep on the other end. I got up and went to my room. I took a super quick shower and then did my usually makeup: foundation, concealer, powder, and mascara. Then I threw on a white Levi's shirt and a pair of ripped jeans along with my white vans. I walked back to the living room, and Val was in her phone.

"Morning," I smiled.

"Morning," she looked up at me.

I immediately knew what she was going to say. I turned around and was about to walk out of the room.

"Camryn," she said sternly.

I turned around and smiled innocently.

"You're not going to get anywhere if you don't talk about this," she said.

"I know," I sighed as walked over to the couch and sat next to her. "I hate feelings."

"First things first. Do you like Daniel?" she asked me.

"I... He's sweet and really cute," I avoided answering the question.

"That's not what I asked," she gave me the bruh face.

"I don't know. Maybe?" I sighed.

"Okay. Do you like Jack?" she asked.

"You know I do," I picked at my nails. "I just don't want to ruin our friendship. He's the only one who's been with me through it all."

"If he really liked you and it didn't work out, he'd find a way to still be your best friend. No matter how hard it is," she told me.

I looked around the room. She was right. Maybe I should tell Jack how I feel. Maybe we should try it out. I got up without saying anything and went to my room. I took out my phone and called Jack.

"Hey," he answered.

"Jack, we need to talk," I sighed.

"Yeah, I know," he said softly.

"I have to take Val back anyways. Can we talk then?" I asked.

"Of course," he said.

I hung up and went back to the living room.

"I called Jack," I told her. "When I take you back, we are going to talk."

"Well, then I'm not wasting anytime," she jumped up and went to go change.

She was done within 10 minutes.

"Let's go," she said already out the door.

I was still confused on how she did her makeup that fast, and it looked flawless. We got in my car and drove to the Why Don't We house. Val was already at the door before I got out of the car. I took a deep breath before walking inside.

"Camry," I heard Jack's voice.

"Jack," I gave a slight smile.

I followed him down the hall and to his room. He shut the door behind us. I sat down on the edge of the bed.

"So we need to talk..." Jack started. "...about the kiss."

It was silent for a few seconds. We didn't make eye contact.

"I don't want to ruin our friendship," I broke the silence. "Jack, you're my best friend, and I don't want to lose what we have."

"Oh.." he ran his fingers through his hair. "Camry, I really like you. After that, I know you don't feel the same way."

"No, Jack. I like you, too," I said.

He looked up at me.

"I really want to see if this will work out. Just please give me a chance," he looked into my eyes.

"Promise me that no matter what happens, you'll always be my best friend.. and that you'll always be there for me," I stood up, and my heart was racing as I spoke.

"I promise, Camry," he nodded. "So.. will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes," I smiled.

He walked towards me and lifted my chin, but he stopped right before our lips touched. I smiled even more before connecting our lips. We pulled apart, and I hugged him.

"I've been wanting this for so long," he whispered.

"Should we go tell the guys?" I asked.

"Let's let them figure out," he smirked.

We walked down the hall to the living room. Everyone was sitting around and doing their own thing. Val looked up at me and smiled. I was almost positive that she already knew what had happened. She walked up to me.

"Are you dating now?" she asked loud enough for the guys to hear.

There goes letting the guys figure it out. It was obvious now.

"I don't know. Are we?" Jack asked.

I looked up at Jack, and he kissed me.

"Oh my gosh! I knew it," Val squealed.

"Wait..." Corbyn looked up from his phone. "I wasn't paying attention. What happened?"

All of the guys looked up now. I guess it was still kinda a secret after all. I gave Val the dont-tell-them look.

"Don't worry. I won't," she winked before going to sit back down with Jonah.

Jack and I laughed. Today was going was better than what I had expected. Daniel looked up from played GTA, and he looked disappointed. I didn't even know why. Was it because I was with Jack? Did I hurt him?
