Best Friend or Boyfriend? // Why Don't We

Chapter 28

Camry's pov

I woke up to my alarm going off at 7:30. I quickly got up and turned it off. I took a shower before blow drying my hair and straightening it. I threw on a white halter top with light washed, ripped jeans. Then I did my makeup: foundation, concealer, powder, eyebrows, and mascara. I went back into the room, and Val was just now waking up.

"Morning," I smiled.

"Morning," she said as she grabbed her things and went to the bathroom.

I scrolled through Twitter as I waited for her to get ready. She came out wearing a pastel pink halter top with white jeans. I slipped on my my white Nike roshes to go with my outfit. Val put on her light pink ones. We were basically matching outfits, just different colors. Jack had texted me and told me to meet them downstairs with our suitcases ready so they could put them in the bus. Val and I went to the lobby with our suitcases, and the guys were there waiting for us.

"Nice matching outfits," Zach said as we walked towards them.

"Thanks," Val and I said at the same time.

"The bus is parked in the back," Corbyn informed us.

They walked with us to the back of the hotel, and we loaded our suitcases up.

"You look beautiful, by the way," Jack walked up to me.

"Thanks," I blushed as he kissed me on the cheek.

We all got on the bus to go to Disney Springs aka Lake Bueno Vista. That was where the concert was going to be held. We got there, and they parked the bus at the back entrance because that was closest to where the House of Blues was.

"Oh, I forgot to mention. Christina is coming to the show tonight," Corbyn told us.

"Really?!" Val squealed. "I've missed her so much!"

"Christina is going to love you, Camry," Corbyn told me.

"Really?" I asked him.

"Yeah. I already know," he smiled.

"Where is she now?" Val asked.

"Follow me," Corbyn said.

We all followed Corbyn out to the front of the bus.

"Christina!" Val yelled as she ran up to her.

They hugged before Val introduced us.

"Christina, this is my best friend Camry. She is Jack's girlfriend," Val said. "Camry, this is Christina. She is Corbyn's girlfriend."

"Nice to meet you," I smiled.

"Nice to meet you, too," she smiled back. "You're really pretty, by the way."

"Ugh, stop!" I laughed. "You're way prettier."

"Lies!" she scoffed.

"I told you," Corbyn looked at me.

"Yeah, yeah," I laughed at Corbyn before he joined back in the conversation that the guys were having.

"I'm actually going to walk around and try to find some of my fans. Do you two want to come?" Christina asked Val and I.

Val and I exchanged looks.

"Sure," I nodded.

Christina, Val, and I walked over to the guys.

"We are going to walk around," Christina told them. "I promise to bring them back."

"Okay. Don't get lost," Corbyn told her.

"I won't," she laughed before he kissed her.

"See you before soundcheck?" I asked Jack.

"For sure," he smiled.

"Good," I smiled back.

He leaned in and kissed me. Jonah and Val finished up whatever they were talking about. Then we all started walking around.

"Christina, I have amazing news," Val told her.

"What is it?" Christina asked.

"Jonah and I finally told Corbyn we are together," Val said.

"Oh my god! That's amazing!" Christina yelled. "Wait. Do the fans know?"

"Not yet," Val sighed.

"When do you think you're going to announce it?" I asked.

"I don't know. Maybe after the last show?" she shrugged.

"Christina!"

We looked up and there was a group of about ten girls all waving and yelling. Christina smiled as we walked up to them. She took pictures with all of them, and some of them even asked for pictures with Val and I. I didn't even know why they'd want a picture with me. I wasn't even famous.

"Bye, guys," Christina waved as we kept on walking.

We walked around for a few more hours and met some more fans. Christina went to her hotel to go change, and then she was going to come back. The guys were already inside the venue. The challenge was: how were Val and I supposed to get in without her getting trampled? The House of Blues was right beside a restaurant, and we knew we could go behind the restaurant to get in the back way. The front of the line was right outside the front of the restaurant. We would be seen no matter what way we went in.

"Let's just go to the back on the restaurant and go through there to get to the venue," Val said.

We walked down the line, and fans screamed and yelled our names. They didn't get out of line, though. There wasn't any security, so I was surprised they didn't try to run up and get pictures. Limelights had some serious respect. We got to the side.

"Camry!" I heard a girl yell.

"Hi!" I yelled back and waved.

We got to a certain part where there was a wall, so fans couldn't see us anymore. We went through the back doors of the venue. I guessed they were in the middle of meet and greet since we heard a bunch of talking and loud music in the background. We managed to get backstage without being seen. We just hung out until he guys came back after meet and greet was over.

"Hey, you're back early," Jack walked up to me.

"Yeah, Christina went back to her hotel to change, so we came back," I told him.

"Are you staying in here for soundcheck?" he asked.

"I guess so. I don't have anything else to do," I laughed.

"You excited for the show?" he asked.

"Of course! I love to watch you perform. You look like you have fun out there," I smiled.

"I do. It's incredible," he smiled back.

He intertwined our fingers as we walked back to the guys and Val. We hung out until everything was set up for soundcheck.
