The flight of airplanes in the night sky
Is wonderful.
You can find them by the flashing lights, and they make a line, like cars.
They move slow enough for your eyes to choose a favorite, and follow them.
From far away, they seem like moving stars traveling a secret path only known to people awake at this time, who stare at the stars.
The stars......I didn't expect to be able to see them, but there they are.
The glow beautifully, and gently. Mesmerizing my eyes and easing my heart and mind.
Not far from them is the moon. Although hidden by clouds, shines brighter and kinder than the sun.
The cold will never bother me, when I can hear the flight of stars taking a secret journey, and when the stars share secrets with me.
