There's a history behind names and the day you were born. That day is paired with someone else's birthday for the 'auspicious match'. To the young people of this world, we just call it your soulmate. I was born on the 20th of April, a simple day with nothing much behind it. Just like everyone else, my mom and dad looked for my match, and found him. They didn't try to find him and introduce us though, for which I don't know if I should be grateful or hate them for.
I met him in college, when things were just starting, and we stayed close before we crossed the line.
And eventually,
he crossed the line of a new kind.
One that brought him out of my life, straight into someone else's.
