A shadow is created by lights.
For that shadow to exist,
it must have those lights.
As the lights go out abruptly,
the shadow cannot be strong
it cannot be bold.
The shadow has no time to find new lights.
For it has been too used to knowing the lights already there.
Sometimes, the sun interferes with the shadow
and sometimes the night interferes
both often mean that the shadow flickers in its existence.
That is when it needs its lights the most.
This shadow is already weak, only strong through a handful of lights.
Two lights have shut off
without warning.
The shadow is weaker than ever.
Do not take away more of the lights.
Do not take away any more of my lights.
For I am the shadow; without those lights,
I will no longer exist.
