This is getting harder and harder to write to you.

I promised you the truth in some form. So I'll give you one truth each letter. Does that sound fair to you, Tatiana?

Funny, isn't it? That I'm choosing to be fair to you now when I wasn't fair to you the entire time we were together.

Do you remember the first Christmas we spent together? How it snowed so hard everything was covered in three inches of white at least?

Do you remember when we decided it'd be a waste not to spend some time outside in it together? You told me it could be romantic if we didn't freeze to death. I told you as long as I was with you I'd be happy.

That stopped being true two months before I ended things.

That truth doesn't seem very fair, so I'll give you another. When I kissed you that day and told you that you were the greatest present I had ever received, I was telling the truth.

You ruined the moment the romantic moment I was trying to create by looking up at me and telling me that you were glad to know you meant more to me than a pair of socks.
