Letter Thirty-Seven

I'm almost done recapping our tragedy of a love story. I've missed a lot of things, I know. A lot of the good things. If anyone ever read these besides us, they'd think that we never had any good times in the ten months that we dated. But we did.

Remember the time we spent horrors watching terrible horror movies just to make fun of them? Or the time I taught you how to play guitar? Now you're better than I ever was. You were always good at everything you did, Tatiana. You were good at being a best friend, a painter, a guitarist, and being a girlfriend.

I'm still not very good at doing much.

But I promise I'll be good this time. I promise I'll tell you why I left. Very, very soon.

I just can't yet. God, it still hurts to remember the look you gave me when I said we're over.

Aidan
