Truth: it wasn't your fault that I started popping pills like they were candy.

Do you remember when we started to fall apart? It was a little after our one year anniversary. I had told you I loved you that day. I meant it, I really did.

But things at home were getting so bad, Tatiana. I couldn't breathe in that house. But I couldn't tell you any of that. You were too beautiful to taint with the darkness that was slowly becoming my life.

I wanted to protect you from it. I wanted nothing more than to keep you pure.

So when some guy at a party slid that blue little pill over to me, I couldn't resist.

I hope one day you can forgive me.
