Only a moment ago we were fine
Only miles away from where we came from
The breaking of glass
Has ended us fast
Only a place in time
Where the sun never shines
I will miss you for as long as I live
The memory of us still haunts my mind
Even after all these times
I still think about you
The thought of you still wakes me up at night
The horrid screeching from my inside
Slowly drives me crazy
I can still hear the screams of the devil
Even though he left long ago
Like you, he saw the evil in me
No one can see any good
Even when they seem to search my every move
With the little breaths I take
My mind wanders slowly
With horns and a pointy tail
The devil left me for good
But I still see the red he left behind
I know that the signs aren't meant for me but I look to them anyway
Their like billboards with their big words and symbols
Only then do I realise that I am over you
You left me broken and beaten
With no one to help me
Turned my friends and family against me
Made me feel weak and useless
Well guess what I am not weak or useless
