Third Wheel

Sitting there is the heat

Steam rising up as four friends sit in a tub

Laughter rings all around

Flashes of light as they take a picture

Singing and dancing within the square

Bubbles fly in the air

They splash each other with the water

As they talk about different things

Then there's the girl in the corner

The third wheel, writing as they laugh and sing together like old friends

But she doesn't fit in here

The steam is still rising

While the friends are still laughing

But where the girl is, time is frozen

She's in her own little world, away from the rest of them

Debating whether to stay or to go

While the friends are laughing

The girl is crying and while their singing the girl is dying
