Can anyone help me?
Is anyone out there?
My life has turned upside down
The thing I love, taken away from me
Black and gray colors streak across the sky
A betrayal from a fellow friend
Heart broken and bruised, to fragile to move
Sadness and regret cross my path
Why did they do this to me?
My life was once happy with my love
An email sent, notifying my leave
Texts sent, questions answered, suspicions confirmed
Real friends shine through in the mist of betrayal
Tears threaten to fall as I talk
A choice that hurts my very soul
I still love them even through everything
The decision is final as we say goodbye
Our backs stabbed by someone we trusted
But yet again true friends will always shine through
