My legs carried me as far as I could go
Muscles ache as my heart races
Out of breath
Still I must run
Faster and faster
My pace quickens
I look behind me as I run
They creep out from the shadows
Racing alongside me
Screams escape my lips
They latch on ad don't let go
My pace slows
I have no control over my body anymore
I had tried to run from my demons
But they caught up
