I remember that day
Red lights flashed, ever so clearly
A blaring honk woke me up
Headlights coming straight at me
As darkness surrounds us all
I wake without you next to me
Tears stream down my face
To think of a life without you
Gasping for breath
They rush in and try to help
My vision blurs and blackens
As dark as the night
As I come to the light memories begin
Of laughter as it fills the air
Of the future I always wanted with him
I hear the beeping of my heart monitor
(As) It takes a rapid increase of beats
I see your face as I shut my eyes
As a final goodbye
White, feathery wings
Encase my body
So soft, but so deadly
I took no heed to their warnings
I remember the pain you brought me
A slight dull throb
But it grew, just like my love for you
I should've listened to the voices
I should've l ran while I could
But that's what I get for falling for a demon
