Nobody cares what I am now —
Who I used to be doesn't matter.
Nobody has ever known me...
I'm not sure which is sadder?I've never been the one for somebody,
Just someone to use and abuse —
I wonder who decides it all,
Who will win and who will lose?I'm always screaming,
"Look at me, look at me!"
Yet wish they'd look away...
I've never liked my own reflection —
Such a horrible dichotomy.And when I'm gone,
It'll be like I never was anyway...
So think nothing more,
Of my lonely yesterdays.I'm over and done —
I've got nothing left to say anymore.
Not that anyone ever listened,
Even though they were the bore. It's all my fault...
I gave myself away —
Many times over,
In far too many ways. And now,
There's nothing left...Just complete and utter emptiness.
