Some people are damaged goods,
I've heard them say.
Their hearts are broken,
But still beat anyway.
Their lives have been bent and torn apart —
They sadly never had a chance,
Right from the very start.
So feel blessed, if you know a person such as this —
And give thanks to God,
That it was you
That this cruel fate missed.
