Safety glass romance is all I've ever had —
Longing for love and passion,
Wanting, needing...
To the point of going mad.
While life without risk
Is often unheard,
Love without trust
Is pointless and absurd.
But what do you do
When your soul mate is never found?
Do you settle for second best,
Or forever wander aimlessly around?
Neither is appealing,
But one you can survive...
To keep your heart intact,
And declare that you're alive.
