To keep my life from feeling so destituteIn the process, heartache only compounded the error...
But I was none the wiser, nor my life any fairerI never wanted to waste your time or mine —
Even though I knew nothing would ever be fineNow here I am, as vacant as an empty ocean —
Enveloped in the hatred, of the words that were spoken.Unable to undo this monumental mistake —
Suffering the consequences that lie in its wake.Though it's forsaken now — all for naught...
For misery and loneliness, is all that this brought.
