If only I knew laughter,
As well as I knew tears —
If only life could've touched me,
All these long, lonely yearsIf only sadness could've turned the other cheek —
If only I could've been popular,
Instead of always being known as the geekIf only I could've had someone there,
To listen to me cry —
If only I knew happiness,
Instead of wanting to dieIf only I could be whole,
Instead of living in this empty shell —
I only hope I make it to Heaven,
And escape this callous Hell.
