"So why are you here?"I ask Tina as she look at me with her brown eyes. Something I miss but I have new beautiful eyes to look into.
"You need to see your son"she said. "He been asking for you for the longest and you never showed up"
"How I'm supposed to know? He never calls me"I said.
"His phone is out of minutes, something you should pay for if you want to see if he's alright"she said.
"Where is he now? He can't be with your momma..."
"He's with my sister"she said. "She lives down here and he been down here since you left New York Dave"
"I'm sorry, but you could of called me when he was down here, I could of let him see his little sister and little brother"I said.
"I'm sorry, I should of thought about it"Tina shook her head. "But how is the other kids?"
"They good. Kyliegh growing up and donaven is walking now"I said. "He's bad"

"I don't"I said bluntly then sat back.

"You..."I chuckle. "You was a jealous bitch, a crazy bitch, and always get me in trouble with the police lying that I was beating you"I shook my head at her.

"No I can't, cause your wrong for what you did back there"I got up grabbing my jacket.
"So I guess you don't want to see your son"Tina said. I stop and look at her.
"Where is he?"she pointed to the door. My son was standing there looking at me.
"Daniel"I mumble. "Come here"he was still standing there looking at me.
"Daniel come here and say hello to your dad"Tina said. He look at me and walk slowly towards us. He went to Tina hugging her while she kiss his forehead. All he did was look at me.
"I'm sorry Dan...."
"Your not sorry"he said. "Why you haven't came and seen me papa"
"I didn't know you was down here. I promise I make it up to you starting now okay"
"How?"he ask.
"We can go to the park or to the zoo, the fair"I said.
"I want to go to Footlocker"he said.
"Okay, I see you. You want some new shoes"I nod my head smiling.
"Uncle Tony said I have to look fresh for the ladies at school down here"he said.
"Well, uncle Tony is right but, you also have to focus on your grades"I said.
"Okay papa"he smile.
"Okay, let's go and get some shoes"I rub his hair and put his cap back on. He hug me then let go.
"Bye mama"Daniel waved bye.
"Pick him up around 9"I said then walk out. But I can't just take him to the store. I have to take all of my kids. "Aye, want to meet your little sister and brother"
