THE WARMTH OF the near fire made everything seem cozier than the atmosphere already was. Hot cocoa was placed in your hands and a blanket was wrapped around your small frame. Your youngest child, Beverly [a/n: shameless it reference] was sat in between your legs, intently watching her older brother rip the decorated paper off of a box. She giggled when Oliver brought out another fully wrapped box.

Your gaze moved from your son to Tom, who was about to start laughing his ass off. Sure, maybe it was cruel to do that to a child on Christmas but you'd seen it on Facebook and couldn't not do it. After all, the boxes all paid off when the present inside was the one thing he absolutely wanted for Christmas.

Tom cleared his throat, just about over with his Winter cold. "Now bud, we looked everywhere for these!"

You all watched as Oliver's face lit up, pulling out a few Spider-Man toys out of the box. Having his father actually be Spider-Man was the coolest thing ever, as quoted by him, but the action figures came into a close second.

"Oh my gosh!" He squealed, giving the box to Tom for him to open. "Now Thor can meet Spidey!"

A laugh escaped your lips, quickly placing the last, big gift in the middle of the room. As soon as your arms detached from its surface, Beverly was the first one to head towards it. Of course. Oliver quickly stood up and marveled at the box, seeing as it was slightly taller than him. Beverly just kept attempting to pick off the wrapping paper.

Both you and Tom unwrapped the end of the box, giving one to each of the kids to open. In no time did the kids have the box completely ripped from the paper. Oliver gasped, trying to hug the large box. Beverly bounced up and down on her knees, clapping as her curls flew everywhere. These kids sure were spoiled.

Infront of the four of you stood one of those automatic children's cars, fully decked out in both Spider-Man and Wonder Woman decorations. While going Black Friday shopping, you and Tom had stumbled upon a plain colored toy car, immediately calling up his family and friends. After a few minutes of convincing them to pitch in even the smallest amount, you two were pushing the box out of Toys-R-Us. In your spare time, you decorated the car for both of them, a mix of superheroes littering the car.

"Merry Christmas, my babies." You smiled, engulfing the siblings and Tom in one big hug.

"Very Merry Christmas, momma," Beverly mumbled into your chest, earning a small aw from you and Tom.

This was sure a holiday to remember.
