57. Loneliness

Yoongi walked out of the bathroom after tossing away his burned clothes, feeling a bit uncomfortable due to how fit the uniform was on him. It was as if the leather cloth had fused with his skin, making him feel like he was actually naked. He ran his palms down his chest, feeling the texture of the sewn-on patch of Vlam's logo against his skin, before facing the mirror in front of him.

The turtleneck leather jacket was colored with a charcoal black shade, the tight fit making Yoongi's thin frame more prominent, also making him notice how narrow his shoulders were compared to Jin's. Vlam's logo, which was sewn with colored yarn, was placed on his chest, where his heart was located. The long sleeves of the jacket cut off at his wrists, giving his hands just enough space for his black half-finger gloves. Two orange linings ran down from his shoulder blades all the way to his wrists. It was paired off black leather pants and a pair of big yet light metal boots that Kihyun had handed him earlier.

Yoongi was rubbing his hands together when he finally crossed the hallway and made it back to the main  workshop, the room where all the machines were located. There, the group of Vlamians waited for him.

All seven of them were sat in a circular position, making them look like they were at a seminar. Shownu was doing most of the talking along with Kihyun, and Yoongi could tell that the former really was the leader of their group. Somehow, this scene reminded the fire gem bearer of their own leader Namjoon and the rest of the team.

Yoongi didn't want to admit it but he missed every single one of his friends. He wondered how they were all doing, if they weren't putting themselves in danger whilst looking for him. It made him worried sick.

"Yoongi?," Suran, being the only one who noticed Yoongi's presence, spoke suddenly. Her face then lit up as she bounced off her seat, making the rest of the Vlamians turn towards him. "It's a perfect fit! Who would have known that you and Changkyun had the same size?"

Not really knowing what to say, Yoongi just stared at Suran, who was staring at him fondly with big eyes. Seeing this made him feel uncomfortable because the way the Vlamian woman was acting reminded him so much of you. The fire gem bearer remembered how cheerful you were during your relationship but now, he wondered if it was real or not. He wondered if you were only trying to be happy for his sake. He wondered if the relationship was doomed from the very beginning.

"Do you like the patch?," Suran asked, her voice bringing Yoongi back to reality. She still had a proud smile on her face. "I made it myself."

"Oh, uh, thanks," Yoongi replied awkwardly whilst Suran continued stare at him with sparkling eyes. He gulped because no matter how he looked at her, the only thing he could see was you.
