Part 33, The New Girl In Town

Ariana P.O.V

I didn't sleep a wink last night. I couldn't stop thinking about what Lola said. What if she is right, maybe I did push my parents away. I tried my hardest all night to think about what I could have done to annoy them, and I couldn't come up with anything. We barely ever had fights, I always helped look after my siblings, I always did my chores, and I always was very nice to both of them, even though my dad hasn't ever really been there for me. I then tried to tell myself that it wasn't my fault, and that they were idiots for leaving us, and faking a divorce, but then I actually felt guilty and started remembering all the fun times we had together, and I cried for literally two hours straight. Then I finally cried myself to sleep.

When I woke up in the morning, my head was throbbing and I had bad cramps. I ignored the pain and took a really cold shower, before brushing my teeth and applying make up. I brushed and dried my hair, and I put it in a half up half down. Then I combed my fringe. I got it because I wanted a new look for the new year. It makes me look really cute if I am honest. Then for my outfit, I pick out a mini skirt, a belly top and an oversized jacket. I put my pink vest with grey lines, my floral shorts and my water bottle in my gym bag. I then put on my tns and I rushed out the house. I go to costa and since I have some time, I sit at a table and drink hot chocolate and have some pastry. Then I realise I am still in a lot of pain, so I go to the pharmacy next to costa, and I get some paracetamol and I swallow it down with some of my water. I feel a lot better by the time I get to the studio. When I change into my dance gear and walk into studio 1, I see that everyone is already sitting down on the benches, and Ms.Kate and Ike are at the front with a new girl.

Ms.Kate

Ike and I are trying to decide who we want to show the new girl around. We are trying to pick someone kind and funny that makes friends easily. Then Ariana walks in. Perfect! "Ariana, this is Stacey, she is an exchange student from Sweden, and I want you to show her around" I say. "Exchange student? Who is leaving from here then?" She asks me. "I was about to announce that...Chloe! you will be going to Sweden and spending a week there!" I say. Everyone claps for Chloe. We have to do this for nationals, so I picked Chloe because she said she has always wanted to go Sweden.

Ariana P.O.V

I always love an opportunity to make friends, but I just can't be bothered right now for some reason...maybe it is because I have a lot on my plate...but then this could be a good distraction, so I don't argue with Ms.Kate. I say hi to Stacey. She tells me she is a big fan of me, and I smile at that. Sometimes I completely forget I have fans, and I forget they are always there for me. I give her a hug and she asks me to take a selfie and sign her phone case so I do. Then I give her a tour of all 10 studios, the locker rooms, the reception, the music room and toilets. Then we head back to squeeze and talk for a while. I take her number and she takes mine, and she senses that deep down I am not happy. She asks me what is wrong, but I am not ready to tell her about all my issues, we have just met. "You need to lighten up" she says. Then, she makes me order two juices in her swedish accent, and she orders some chips in my British accent. It is actually quite funny if I am honest. Then Ms.Kate texts me she wants me back with Stacey in studio 2 in 10 minutes, so we head there, and Ms.Kate wants to see Staceys dancing and get to know her so she says I can go back to studio 1, and she says Starr is here, and she wants us to film a youtube video, doing the pie face challange. I sigh. All I really want to do is talk to Perri about my problems. He just knows me so well. But I guess if I really am going to be truly happy again, like I was before all the drama with my parents, then I need to have fun. So I go into studio 1 and talk to Starr for a while, about her singing mostly (I love hearing what amazing things she is going to do next) and then we start the pie face challenge...
