Jack's P. O. V.

I can't believe I was actually going through with this. Aspen and I had announced our 'relationship' last night. I had never seen so much hate come from my fans. Aspen didn't seem too bothered by it, she said she was only focused on me.

David said that if I was her boyfriend, I needed to act like it. He told me I had to defend her to my fans. Even though I agreed with some of the things they said, I still said something about it in my story. The guys did too, telling the fans to stop cyber bullying.

I wasn't focused on the hate, though. I was more focused on Wren. She cancelled our plans to celebrate Monday night, and every other plan I tried to make. I was starting to feel hurt, but I knew I'd see her in a few days for the start of our tour.

I was packing the day before tour and I went to Zach, Corbyn, and Jonah's room to grab a shirt Zach stole. I was right by the door when I overheard them.

"Have you checked out the girl David hired to be our photographer?" Jonah asked.

"Yeah, she's hot," Zach said.

"Didn't Jack get David to hire her? That probably means he has a thing for her," Corbyn told them.

"But Jack is dating Aspen now," Jonah said. I walked in just then, pretending like I hadn't heard anything.

"Zach, can I have my shirt back?"

"Oh yeah, sorry bro." He grabbed the shirt from his bed and threw it to me.

"Thanks. And guys, Wren isn't interested in dating anyone while on tour. She just wants the experience," I told them before walking out.

I went back to my room and continued packing.

"I guess that means I shouldn't ask her out then should I?" Daniel asked.

"No, dude," I laughed.

The only reason I was keeping the guys from Wren was because I had a plan. I just had to get Wren to trust me again to talk about it. She probably thinks I'm just as much of an asshole as the guy who drugged her.

Wren's P. O. V.

"Wren, if you're not comfortable then you shouldn't go," Em said as I packed my suitcases.

"I'll be fine, Em. We need the money."

"You're gonna be on a bus with a ton of guys. There might not be a space for you to get away."

"I'll make space. I'll be fine."

"And with everything that happened with Jack, you don't have anyone that you trust."

"Then the other guys can earn my trust. I've done my research, they all seem like sweet guys."

"Yeah, you thought that about Jack too."

"I'm going. If I have a problem, then that's my fault. I'll be back here in a few weeks anyways, so I'll have a break in the middle."

"Are you sure about this?"

"Yes, Em. I'll be okay."

"It's gonna be lonely here without you."

"You have Charlie. Maybe you can talk to him about moving in."

"Or maybe us moving in with him."

"Maybe. Are we doing anything for dinner because if not I'm gonna shower."

"I was gonna go over to Charlie's for his mom's birthday. Do you wanna come?"

"I think I'll just skip and make something of my own. I need to save up my alone time for when I'm surrounded by screaming fans."

"True. Well I'll be gone a few hours, so don't wait up."

"Okay, have fun."

I gathered my clothes and went into the bathroom to shower. I was wearing some comfy shorts and a long sleeve shirt. I brushed my wet hair out, letting it air dry, then went to the kitchen.

I went through the fridge and when I found it empty, I grabbed my phone to order a pizza. I went into the living room and turned on the tv, turning on 'High School Musical'.

I heard a knock on my door and expected it to be pizza. I opened the door and saw Jack standing there.

"Jack I don't want to see you," I told him.

"Please let me explain."

"Explain what? I trusted you. You said you understood how hard it was for me to get comfortable with someone. And then you turned around and crushed me. I liked you. I thought you were different-"

"I am! I like you too, Wren."

"You have a girlfriend Jack!"

"That's what I want to talk to you about. Please, can I come in?" He asked. I could tell he meant well from the look in his eyes. I softened every time I looked in them.

"Okay, come in." He thanked me and walked in. Just as I closed the door behind him, the doorbell rang.

I opened it and Jack jumped in front of me insisting on paying for the pizza. I thanked him then took the pizza.

"We can just sit on the couch," I said taking the pizza box with me.

"High School Musical?" He asked looking at the screen.

"You said you had something to talk about?" I said ignoring him.

"Right. I'm not actually dating Aspen. I'm just dating her so you can come on your with us."

"What does that-"

"Aspen's dad is my manager. He told me that if I dated Aspen, he'd let you come on tour with us. Aspen has had a crush on me for forever and he just wants her to be happy."

"So you're doing this for me?"

"Yes! I don't like Aspen at all. I like you."

"So you're saying that I have to go on tour and be miserable while watching you be miserable while acting to be happy with Aspen?"

"We don't have to be miserable."

"If you're with Aspen, I'll be miserable."

"What about the times that I'm not with Aspen?"

"You're asking me to sneak around with you?"

"You don't have to. Really, it's up to you. I just don't want to sit around for two months pretending to be happy while watching you be you."

"I don't want to do that either, I like you too much."

"I like you more." He stared deeply into my eyes.

"Prove it, kiss me." I don't know where my confidence came from, but I really wanted to feel his lips on mine.

"I've been dying to kiss you," he said before lunging forward at me. I shoved the pizza box on the floor, putting my hands into his curly hair as our lips melted together.

"Sorry, I forgot my ph- woah." Em had walked in. I pushed Jack off of me, but he kept his hand on my thigh. "What's going on?"

I looked up at Jack. "I'm not actually dating Aspen. It's just an act."

"Um, okay. Well have fun!" Em shouted before grabbing her phone and leaving.

"Sorry about that," I said.

"I don't care." Jack was back on me in no time. He shoved his tongue in my mouth and pressed his body against mine. When we finally broke apart, we sat up out of breath.

"That was one heck of a first kiss."

"That was your first kiss?!"

"Yeah," I laughed.

"Damn. That's the best kiss I've ever had."
