Wren's P. O. V.

The rest of the tour went by in a flash. There was only one show that stuck in my mind, and the fans minds, for a long time. The Philadelphia show.

It had been a little over a week since Jack and I told the fans we were together. It seemed like everyone was taking it pretty well, and if they weren't they weren't saying much about it. It was almost like Jack and I had as much support as Christina and Corbyn did.

My mindset changed at the Philadelphia show. It was Jack's home state, but I didn't think that'd make too much of a difference. After the show ended, Jade asked me to carry some boxes for her to restock the merch stand. Of course I helped her. Fans were already starting to leave the venue, but the VIP's stayed behind.

I got to the table and began setting up the boxes. Someone came up to me and started asking for a shirt, but then she realized who I was.

"You're that Wren bitch aren't you?" She asked, disgusted.

"Yeah, that's me," I smiled.

"You're so disgusting. Like seriously Jack would've been better off with Aspen and she's a hoe. He really needs to get a better taste in girls." She scoffed.

She kept going on and on hating on Aspen and I. I stayed calm and just gave her the merch and took her money.

"Bitch why aren't you answering me?" She asked pulling me out from behind the table. A crowd started to form, some girls trying to pull her away and some egging he on.

"I get it, you hate me, you don't have to repeat it. But what are you hating in Aspen? She's literally the sweetest thing."

"How can you even say that about her? That slut deserved to have her heart broke by Jack."

"Please just grow up and stop hating on us."

"What did you just say to me?"

"I said grow up. You're acting so immature about all of this. If you were a true fan, you'd be happy that Jack is happy," I slipped.

The girl basically had fire fuming from her ears. She lunged forward and pushed me to the ground. A ton of fans joined in. I couldn't tell if they were helping me or the girl, there were too many arks swinging around.

"Everyone get off of her now!" I recognized the voice, and so did the girls. They all jumped off of me and stood back.

"Wren, baby are you okay?" Jack asked running towards me and helping me stand up.

"I'm fine," I said ignoring the pounding headache I had and the bloody lip.

"No you're not," he held me close to him by my waist. "Are you girls serious?"

"Jack it's fine."

"No, it's not fine. This is not okay. Wren is just a normal girl. She shouldn't have to risk her life just to be with the guy she loves. I thought that you were my fans. What ever happened to those messages saying 'I'll always support you'?  Do those immediately go away when I get a girlfriend?"

"Jack-" Jade walked up and put a hand on his shoulder.

"I love all of you guys, you've supported my music and that's amazing. But it's hard to love a fan who doesn't also support the girl I fell in love with. You can disagree all you want, but it's still my choice. So please, stop hating on Wren and Aspen. They did nothing wrong. So leave them alone."

The whole venue went silent. Fans who were just walking up fell quiet when they saw Jack holding me. Jade walked us backstage. We went into the green room and Jack got me ice for my lip. I sat on a couch as he paced back and forth.

"Jack you shouldn't have done that," I said "I was fine, Jade would've found me soon enough."

"I had to do that. They need to learn that they don't control me."

"They know that, they're just defending their thoughts."

"That's not okay, though. They need to chill out and let us be. It sucks how I can't be happy without them tearing me down. Because when they tear you down, it tears me down ten times harder."

"Jack," I stood up, setting down the ice, and put my hands on his shoulders. "I'm gonna get hate. We just have to deal with that. I'll stay backstage with you if you want. I won't go near the fans unless I'm with someone if you're that worried about it. You just need to stay calm and now blow up again."

"I know. But like I said I didn't wanna see you get hurt. You got hurt tonight and I blew up. I'm sorry."

"It's fine. But how did you even know what was going on?" I asked.

"Jade told me you went to the merch table so I peeked through the curtains and saw the girl push you to the floor. I ran out there and Jade followed me."

"Oh."

"Come here." He pulled me close to him and hugged me, picking me up off the floor.  He kissed my cheek then set me back down. "Your lip better heal quick. I don't know if I can stay away from them until then," he smirked.

"Come on you have meet and greet pictures. Worry about my lips later." I hugged him again.

"You still feel comfortable taking pictures?" He asked.

"You're there, I'll be fine."

"Okay." He wrapped his arm around my waist and we walked to the meet and greet area. The other guys were already waiting, oblivious to what had happened.

"Wren you okay?" Daniel asked pointing to his lip. I just nodded as Jack quietly explained to them.

The security started sending fans in. It was the most awkward time when the girl who pushed me walked up. She acted like a complete angel around the guys. Jack was a little reluctant with her, but he still hugged her and stuff. She glared at me as she walked off but I ignored her.

It was getting close to the end when a younger girl walked up. She was probably ten or so. She had the biggest smile in her face as she hugged all of the guys. Her mom came and stood next to me.

"She's been waiting for this for over a year," she said absentmindedly. "Always talks about how Jonah would give the best hugs, and how she wants to run her hands through Jack's hair, and give Corbyn a special pair of glasses, and see Daniel's tooth gap in real life. And then of course kiss Zach's red cheeks," her mom said as the girl did all of these things.

"That's so cute," I said. She thanked the guys then walked up to me.

"Can I have a hug?" She asked sweetly.

"Of course," I gasped. She was short, so I bent down and gave her a tight hug.

"I just want to say that I look up to you and Aspen. I love how confident you are and he you don't let the bullies get to you. And you're both really pretty. I hope to be like you two some day," she said in my ear.

"Thank you so much! That really means the world to me."

"Can I get a picture?" She asked. I nodded and her mom took a picture of us. Then, I pulled out my phone and took some selfies with her. They walked off and I looked at the guys.

"That was the sweetest girl in the whole world, I might cry." The guys laughed and another group came up for pictures.

Okay guys, let's talk. So there was a ton of trouble with chapter 14. First it wouldn't publish, then the words didn't show up, then it got deleted, but now I'm pretty sure everything is fine. But that's why it's taken a while to update again. I was trying to figure out what was wrong, but I had a tournament this weekend and it was just crazy. So it's fixed now, and here's another chapter for you guys. I'll go back to daily updates from now on, if there isn't trouble with any other chapters. Thanks for being patient. Hope you like it!
