Wren's P. O. V.
At the New York show, I finally got to meet Christina. We clicked as soon as we introduced ourselves. I had been always seen her videos, but I must've missed the ones Corbyn were in. She talked about how one of her roommates was obsessed with my pictures.
We hung out before and after the show, having a blast without the guys. I never had many girl friends, or friends at all, but Christina was definitely going to be a great one.
Unfortunately we could only spend a day together. Corbyn whined that I stole her from him so he swept her off her feet on a day for just them.
The day after the show, the guys and I flew back to L. A. I was stuck between Jack and Jonah and both of them fell asleep on my shoulders. The 6 hour flight went by way faster once I had nudged Jonah off of me and cuddled into Jack, falling asleep myself.

"I'm going back to the apartment, but I'll be back later," I said to Jack who was half asleep on his bed.
"Wait, no don't go!" He mumbled.
"I'll be back later," I said putting in my shoes.
"Come here," he said sticking his arms out.
I crawled on the bed and hugged him. I then kissed him, pulling his bottom lip with my teeth before letting go.
"Don't be too long," he said as I carried my bag out to the car Jack let me borrow.
I drove to Em's apartment and walked up to her floor. I used my key to unlock the door and walked in. I heard talking in Em's room, so I expected it to be Em and Charlie. I dropped my bag off in my room then walked over to hers. I knocked in her door then walked in, immediately regretting it.
"What the hell is he doing here?" I spat.
"Wren-" she stood up and walked towards me
"No, did you not understand anything that I said? Did you not care about how I felt? Em I told you I couldn't do this." I backed away. He stood up and followed Em out of her room.
"Wrennie please just listen-"
"No, just stop. Don't ever call me that again. I can't believe you Em!" I grabbed my purse off the table then ran right out of her apartment.
I saw them both on the sidewalk as I sped off back to the guys house. I wiped my eyes with the back of my hand, trying to stop crying.
The tears kept flowing and flowing. I couldn't see anything. The white lines that separated the lanes disappeared and I couldn't tell where I was going. I steered right into the front of another car.
The air bag burst up and into my body. My arms flew back and from the pain I felt, I knew one of them was broken. My head was killing me too, but all the pain floated away as I did too.
I just kept thinking about my dad and him in that apartment. And what he did to me when I was only ten. Eventually, I blacked out.
Jack's P. O. V.
"Hello?" I answered the phone seeing Wren's contact pop up.
"Is this Jack Avery?"
"Yeah, what happened to Wren?"
"There was an accident. We're taking her to the hospital now."
"Thank you, I'll be there soon." I hung up and grabbed some shoes before running out the door, taking Jonah's car. I texted the guys and Em telling them to meet me there.
When I got to the hospital, I ran to the front desk.
"I'm looking for Wren Beckett."
"Please have a seat, a nurse will come and get you when she us ready for visitors."
"Can't I see her now? Please?"
"Sir-"
"I'm sorry, but I really need to see her."
"And if you don't you'll die?"
"I might," I shrugged.
"Room 112." I rushed down the hallway, almost running last her room. I looked in and saw her laying there unconscious on the bed. I opened the door and rushed to her side. I took her hand that wasn't in a cast in mine.
"Sir, you can't be in here," a nurse walked in.
"Is she okay?"
"Are you immediate family?"
"The only family she has right now," I kissed her cold hand.
"She is okay. Her left wrist is majorly fractured, and she has a mild concussion."
"So when should she wake up?"
"This is just from the pain medication, so she should wake up soon."
"Does anyone know what happened?" I asked.
"The man in the other car involved in the accident reported that she drove into his lane and he tried to swerve out of the way, but he wasn't fast enough. She ran into the side of his car. He said that when he got to her in the car, she was passed out with tears down her face. He wasn't sure if it was why she crashed or if the tears were because she crashed."
"Okay, thank you." The nurse smiled before leaving.
I sat there, my knees bouncing waiting for any response. I started going crazy, hearing the heart monitor next to her. The repetitive sound taunting me. Soon, the door opened and Em came in with a man.
"Who's this?" I asked her.
"Um, a friend. How is she? What happened?"
"Car accident. They said she was crying, and swerved into another lane." She looked at the man. "She has a fractured wrist and a mild concussion. She should wake up any minute. Was she driving to the apartment or from the apartment?" I asked.
"I'm not sure, I wasn't home," Em said after a few seconds of her zoning out.
A few moments later, the four guys had arrived as well as Charlie. The small hospital room was now very crowded. The nurses made the guys and Charlie stay in the waiting room.
I felt her hand move and I jerked my head towards her. Her eyes fluttered and when she opened them, she smiled at me. She looked around the room, confused, but when her eyes landed on Em and the man, her confusion turned to angry tears.
"Get out! Get out now!" She cried. "Get them out of here! I don't want you here! Just leave me alone!"
A nurse can in and escorted the two out of the room. I stood back as they tried calmed her down.
"I want Jack!" She cried. I stepped forward and the nurses made room for me. I held her hand, rubbing my thumb in circles on her skin.
"Can I talk to him alone please?" She asked softly. I nodded my head and the nurses left.
"What happened? Who was that?" I asked.
"That was my dad," she whispered. My jaw dropped. I sat on the bed and she scooted over so I could lay with her. I wrapped my arm around her shoulders and she put her head on my chest.
"Is that why you crashed? Because you saw your dad?"
"He was in the apartment. Em was talking to him as if he wasn't a monster." Her replies were soft, but filled with anger and frustration.
"What can I do to help?" I asked. "I'll do anything."
"For now, just get them to leave," she whispered.
