Wren's P. O. V.

"Good luck tonight, boys. I'll see you after the show," I said passing them all in the living room.

I was dressed in a short sleeved black dress that hugged my body to the middle of my thighs. Jack stood up from the couch and walked over to me. He pulled me in for a tight hug, then kissed me.

"I love you."

"I love you too." I grabbed my purse and went out to the uber.

I rode to the graveyard where we were having the ceremony. I had to be there early to set up the easel with the screen to project the video, so no one was there except for Naomi and I.

"How are you?" She asked me.

"Fine, considering the circumstances. I'm just really not in the mood for people to tell me they're sorry."

"I understand, sweetie."

We finished setting up and soon the guests started to arrive. There weren't a lot of people, mostly our family and Em or Charlie's friends.

Just before the ceremony was about to start, someone came up and grabbed my waist from behind. I turned and saw Jack. He was wearing black pants and a black button up.

"Jack?!" I asked. "What are you doing here?"

"They changed our performance time. We flew through the red carpet, then I slipped out. I didn't want you to be here alone," he said hugging me.

"Thank you so much Jack," I said kissing him.

"Why are you crying?" He asked, wiping the tears that were suddenly on my cheeks.

"It's just an emotional day, I guess," I said after a minute.

The ceremony started and went by faster than I had thought. They put her casket into the ground, then let us all drop dirt onto the top of it. They continued to shovel dirt onto the top of her casket. She was officially gone.

"I'll clean up, you two go home," Naomi said. I hugged her and he others before following Jack to his car.

"I'll drop you off at home then go to the show," Jack said grabbing my hand as we walked.

"What if I wanna go with you?" I asked.

"I didn't think you'd feel up to it after this," he said.

"Em wouldn't want me to neglect you because of her. She is too selfless...was too selfless," I said correcting myself.

"As long as you're up to it," he said.

"I am. I just don't know if my dress is good enough," I said looking down.

"Believe me, that dress is perfect," Jack said. I smiled, a blush forming on my cheeks.

"Thanks." We got to the car. Jack drove us both to the arena.

"Hold on, I have to change," Jack said. He moved to the backseat and took his shirt off.

He finished getting dressed, then took my hand and led me inside. We found our seats and sat down as Taylor Swift was performing.

"Hey, how was it?" Zach asked. He was sitting on the other side of me.

"Fine I guess. It was a funeral."

"Yeah. I'm sorry we couldn't make it."

"It's fine. We can go see her another time." He nodded then went back to enjoying the music.

"I'm so tired," I said practically falling into the car. Jack laughed at me before helping me sit up and buckle up.
