Wren's P. O. V.
"Happy birthday to you!" We all sang to Zach. All that Zach wanted for his birthday was to fly home and see his family and friends, so the six of us flew to Dallas.
Zach blew out his 17 candles, resulting in applause all around. Zach's friends, Brandon and Matthew, joined us as well.
"I want a big piece!" Reese shouted with a huge smile on her face. Myta laughed and started cutting slices of cake while Josh scooped ice cream. We all sat around the table and ate cake.
It was really cute, seeing Zach with his family. He was still a little kid who missed his family like crazy. He had to grow up faster than the rest of the guys and live without his parents at just 15. When we asked what he wanted and all he said was his family, we all collectively awed.
Zach opened his presents and we all just hung out in the living room. Reese insisted that the guys all played a game with her. I smiled as they all danced around the living room, making Reese smile.
Later that night we all got settled in for a movie. Jack and I were cuddled on the love seat, just like that last time we visited. Zach was sitting on the other couch and Reese climbed up onto his lap and snuggled into his chest, it was adorable.
The movie started and everyone's eyes were glued to the screen, snacking on the popcorn Myta had made. I wasn't even tired, but the next time I opened my eyes everyone was asleep.
I slipped out of Jack's arms and walked towards the bathroom. When I got there, the door opened and Matthew walked out.
"Shit, you scared me," he whispered.
"Sorry," I laughed.
"Did I wake you up?" He asked.
"No, you're fine."
"So are you."
"What?"
"Nothing, I'm just admiring the view," he smirked looking me up and down.
"Okay, well you can stop. Go find your view somewhere else because I'm not it," I said.
"I can't compliment you? It's not a crime."
"Yeah, but I'd appreciate it if you didn't compliment me. So just leave me alone and go back to bed."
"Maybe instead of sleeping with Jack you could sleep with me," he stepped closer. I put my hands on his chest and pushed him away, glaring at him as I stepped into the bathroom.
Just as I was closing the door, he pushed through.
"I'm not asking for anything difficult. Just one job for you," he smirked.
"No, you perv. Get out," I pushed him through the doorway and closed the door, locking it. I took a few deep breathes, trying to calm down. A few tears slipped down my cheeks, but I quickly wiped them away.
I walked back to the living room, sending a glare to Matthew. I sat on the couch and fell back against Jack's arm, accidentally waking him up.
"You okay?" He asked in his sleepy voice.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I love you,"
"I love you too." I kissed his lips before getting comfortable and falling back asleep.

"Thank you for breakfast Myta, it was amazing," I said while I helped her clean up.
"Thank you. You don't have to help, I can do it."
"No, you cooked. Go sit down and Zach and I will clean up," I smiled. She thanked me and left the kitchen.
Zach and I cleared the table and took the dishes to the sink. I washed the dishes and he dried them, putting them into the cabinets.
"Zach?" I asked.
"Yeah?"
"Could you do me a favor?"
"What?"
"Could you tell Matthew to back off? He doesn't seem to wanna listen to me."
"What do you mean?" He asked setting down the towel and looking at me.
"Last night we woke up at the same time and he was checking me out and he asked me to do dirty stuff with him. And then this morning he tried to grab my ass and everytime I tell him to back off he doesn't listen and I don't want to make Jack mad."
"Yeah, I get it. Matthew tends to cross lines when it comes to pretty girls. I'll talk to him but he's leaving soon so it won't matter," he shrugged.
"Thank you. And I'm sorry, I know he's your friend and all but-"
"No don't be sorry, it's not your fault."
We finished in the kitchen and went back to the living room.
"You ready to lose in the scrimmage?" Brandon asked.
"Whatever, I'm gonna kick your butt," Zach retorted. They all went upstairs to Zach's room to get ready for a soccer game they had scheduled.
We drove to the fields and sat in the stands while they warmed up. Jack and I were in charge of Reese because Myta and Josh couldn't come to the game. We took her to an ice cream stand and bought her a cone.
"Let's hurry back so we don't miss the start," Jack said. Reese skipped happily ahead of us back to the stands where the guys sat.
"Hey," Jack took my hand in his.
"What's up?" I asked licking my ice cream.
"Are you okay? You seem kind of nervous and jittery."
"I'm fine."
"You sure?"
"Jack, I'm fine." I turned to look at him and smiled before standing on my toes and kissing his nose. He then grabbed my face and brought my lips to his. I kissed him sweetly before taking his hand, leading him to the stands.
