Wren's P. O. V.

I woke up laying on top of Jack in his warm embrace. I looked up and noticed he was already watching me.

"What?" I asked.

"Just admiring the view," he whispered. I kissed his lips, then down his jaw line, to his collarbone.

"We should probably get home," I said running my hand through Jack's hair.

"We could, but our clothes aren't dry."

"I'm sure that something is dry enough to at least get to the car," I chuckled.

"We should probably wait longer until everything is dry."

"We need to go see my dad today. I'll check the clothes." I sat up and got off of Jack going to the bathroom. I came back out with Jack's clothes. His weren't as wet as mine and dried faster.

"Just let me wear your sweatshirt, it's big enough to cover me."

"Okay." Jack got out of bed and put his clothes back on. I threw his sweatshirt on then gathered the rest of my wet clothes. I grabbed my phone and followed Jack to the elevator.

"I think you should not wear pants more often," he said biting his lip.

"Really?" I asked. I took a step over to him and caressed his face. I looked into his eyes and put my lips right in front of his.

"Y-yeah really," he smirked putting his hand under the sweatshirt and grabbing my butt.

"Maybe I will," I kissed him, pulling his bottom lip with my teeth.

The elevator opened and we gave our key back then left the hotel. We got in the car and started the long drive back home. Jack put his hand on my inner thigh and kept it there until we had to stop for gas.

"Will you get me some chocolate?" I asked smiling widely. He chuckled, calling me cute, then ran inside to grab a chocolate bar for me. He also grabbed some chips and sodas.

"I love you so much," I said digging in to all of the junk food.

"I love you too."

"Oh, I was talking to the food, sorry Jack," I joked.

"Fine, I'll just kiss this chocolate," he said grabbing the candy bar from me and opening it.

"You better not," I warned.

"Yeah, I know. I love you too much." He handed the candy bar back to me and leaned in kissing my lips.

"Where have you guys been? And where are your pants?" Jonah asked like a worried mother.

"Chill, we just stayed in a hotel last night."

"I called you like ten times!"

"We were...busy," Jack said.

"Wow. Just get inside and next time tell me where you are so I can sleep without worrying."

"Fine mom," I joked. Jonah laughed and walked inside with us.

"When are we leaving?" Jack asked.

"Now, after I get dressed."

"Yeah I'd rather you not go see your dad with no pants on," he said. I looked at him, my smile disappearing quickly. "Wren, I'm so sorry I didn't mean it-"

"I know," I sighed turning away and going to my side of the closet.

"Wren, come here." He grabbed my arm and pulled me over to him. "I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to joke about that."

"I know," I smiled softly. "You're okay." I stood on my toes and kissed him.

I went over to my closet and found something to wear. I wore high waisted white ripped jeans, a maroon crop top, and my black vans. I ran a brush through my messy hair, leaving it naturally wavy. I put on some mascara and chap stick, then came out of the bathroom.

"Damn, I'm one lucky guy," Jack said looking me up and down. He said sitting on the edge of the bed. I walked over and sat in his lap, straddling him. He pushed my hair behind my ear before he leaned in and kissed me.

"I think that I'm the lucky one. I've been going through some tough shit lately. And I've put you through the same shit. But you still manage to keep a smile on your face and put a smile on my face. So thank you Jack."

"I just want you to be happy Wren."

"I know. And I am, as long as I'm with you."

"So when we go into that room with your dad, you forget about everything that he did and only worry about the problem that's in front of you, okay?"

"I will." He stood up, holding me up by my thighs. He put me on the floor then took my hand and we walked out to the living room.

"Where are you guys going?" Daniel asked.

"I have to tell my dad about Em," I told him. His eyes softened.

"Be careful."

"I will, thanks Dani."

Jack led me out to the car, opening and closing my door for me. He got in and started towards the prison. This car ride was a lot quieter than the ones before. I turned the radio on, trying to fill the silence. It worked because Jack started singing and that's all I needed to feel better about this situation.
